BoA has Za-Khazy Run or something like that, it has best fights, I won them all and that was really difficult, there was tactics for sure.
It has time limit so you need to go full autist mode - save, then scout ahead for place of interest, and reload to not make wrong moves, that way you will have time for every fight even in remote places,

Well, Avernum was a game from which I started my adventure in indie games.
After AAA-bullshit like DAO it was great.
Dunno, how it feels now.
First game is a bit too long in the end, last few hours was a mistake.
Second one is the best - game is really huge, and rich.

Mutie in Dep A performed Crippling Strike and my char got 2 stacks of it (4 Str penalty).

I'm using only stealth garb, your best armor is a corner that breake LoS with enemies lol.
For such groups it's sadly reloadings, also I do use some traps but try not to abuse them, like not more then 3 of them.
Usually discharge from Electoshock Pistol is a good beginning, then some napalm or acid, or liquid nitrogen.
The problem is that it's too difficult to find winning strategy - I man which chem pistol to use, at least for me, so it's usually a couple of reloads.
I did't used yet plasma pistol or laser, can't find good components at 16 lvl.

Chem pistol aren't silent, as far as I understand they are pneumatic, and using gases to spit chem blob.
Maybe they are not as loud as .44 but still can trigger mob in close areas, checked it just twodays ago in location with Simon Peres.
I would gladly took Steadfast Aim, but requirements are still don't fit into character. I'm goinf to use Ambush instead.
