The game is supposed to be a bit harder so that it forces you to use more than just your primary weapon attacks and a lot of fights are balanced around the player having the ability to disable some of the opponents temporarily (flashbang, telekinetic punch, flares, forcefield, etc). So I don't plan to make the game any easier in that regard.

That said, there are certain fights, particularly in the early game (like the package delivery one), that end up being too difficult for some character builds and I'll be looking into those to either tone them down a bit or provide that type of character more tools to overcome them.

I'm sorry you're having troubles. I'll re-download the installer myself again tonight and check if it works.

It shouldn't have anything to do with .NET if it fails during installation.

Could it be that your HD has developed bad sectors or something like that? I tested the newest GG installer and it worked for me just fine.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you're asking if it will still be compatible if I chance some skills around then yes.

In any case I don't expect too many changes in that department. What I'll probably be doing a lot is adding new feats and maybe tweaking existing ones sometimes. If I have to completely remove a feat from the game I'll refund the character with a feat point that it will have to spend during import.
