Hey, I'm glad you're liking it.

As for your questions, it's like Koschey said:

1) Equip it as Koschey explained. It's technically a bolt, because you can only use it with a crossbow (must have a crossbow as current weapon). ;)
2) You need to end the session after you shoot it 10 times, range doesn't matter.

When you installed the game, did you use setup.exe or the .msi file?

You should use setup.exe, so it installs all the prerequisites.

Thanks for posting this. I'll be sure to fix those bugs and for the rest:

- You can't burst with pistols, only with SMGs and assault rifles. I'll add that to the description.

- When you open the radial menu there and select the ability, it will assign that ability to the action bar. That is, if you have an item that can perform multiple stuff you pick which one you want bound to that button. I'll see if I can make that more intuitive.

- You can attack non-hostile creatures by using 'attack' ability. It's the very first ability in the 'quick invoker' and has the icon of your current weapon. In the future you will be able to open a radial menu and select that action from there.

- You can unload your current weapon by holding shift and using the rightmost action button (Shift+Y).

I've got the solution, (sorry for bad english) you need to run the game with xp pack 2 compability
I think running with admin rights should be enough. Have you tried that?

Yeah, got a few reports of that happening. The save games (and the temp save game) are written in the installation folder, so that must be the problem as you suggested.

I can't say what are the exact system requirements right now as I haven't really tested on too many configurations.

The game is not too tasking on the GPU so integrated graphics should work fine (at least on lower resolutions, but you should be running those anyway since it's a laptop) as long as they're not too outdated (Shader model 2.0 is required).

Once the demo is out it would be great if you could test it out on some of those configurations you have and let me know how it went.

Can't wait to test Under Rail out and have some fun killing some random pixels. How many hours of game play is in the alpha? 1 to 2 hours worth?

I'd say there's about 2 and a half hours, but it largely depends on how you play RPGs. My friend was play testing it last night and he likes to open every container, turn every stone, talk to everyone, try to steal stuff and get killed because of it, etc, so after 4 hours he still hasn't beaten it.

Also, any info on performance? I'm wondering specifically if my 1.65 GHz APU in HP Netbook is capable of running UnderRail with at least 25+ frames per second.

I can't say anything for certain as I still haven't tested it on that many configurations, but I think it should run fine on that (especially since you'll probably be running it on lower res since it's a netbook). It's fairly light on GFX, so as long as you have decent CPU (which you do) and GFX card that supports 2.0 shader model it should run fine.
