It's indeed intentional. Some components, such as rifle frames, have the required skill modifier (1.2 in this case). I don't know if this is really required for the rifles or fair. This is the decision I made a long time ago and I don't remember all the reasoning behind it, but I'm going to leave it in, at least for now.

Indeed, it was something that was made for early psi iterations. It was basically superseded by Trance.

Fixed for the next update. But, yeah, you died and the game crashed after that, if you managed to survive it wouldn't crash, so you're not missing out on anything.

Most of Underrail's combat content (attacks/abilities) also works in both modes, only some AI behaviors lack real-time implementation as far as I know.
It's actually the other way around, most do not work because they lack real-time AI implementation.

1. We considered having random events inside the train before and we might do those at some point.
2. That would make sense for a lot of other status effects as well, but we generally don't implement them at that level of detail.

As you guys assumed, in order to really fix this through AI, it would require a complete AI overhaul where the NPCs would be able to strategies in mid and long-term. And, of course, at this point that is not going to happen.

Some sort of push out option (where an NPC can push his comrade out of the way if he's stunned/incapacitated) might be at least relatively effective, so I'll look into that when I get the time.

Forcefield - I'm considering making it destructible with its health scaling with skill.

At the very least, in the future, we're going to avoid encounter design where many enemies can be lured to such choke points easily.

I lost a bet with a friend, so I have to beat underrail. I have no interest in playing through the game legitimately. There aren't any cheatengine tables for the current version (afaik), and I play the steam version, so I can't go to a previous version (afaik). Is there any way to get to the credits without having to spend multiple days on this game. Please help.

What's the point though? If you're going to lie about beating the game why go through the false motions, just tell him you beat it and that's that.
