Yeah, unfortunately the code that patches the existing laser and plasma pistols has been accidentally excluded from certain recent builds (1.0.3.17+) and any old items that have been run through the game during this period are permanently stuck with old stats.

It works with other chemical guns but not with XAL.
Damage taken debuff works fine.

I'm not sure what is going on here. I do not lose the level, skill points or feats when transitioning or canceling a level up, except that I lose 40 extra skill points from the first level up that should not be there at all. That is, the character has extra 40 unspent skillpoints before starting the first level up for some reason. How did this happen? Could it be that this has something to do with the cheating? I see that you have some manner of circumventing the encumbrance.

I'm using an experimental branch and loaded my old save where i had XAL.
Acid puddles are generated properly.
However i can still entagle myself in acid. That's unacceptable after the nerf to infused siphoner boots.
I'm taking extra damage from my Opportunist.
Crit chance of this attack seems pretty high.
Crit damage is higher if i'm fully focused and enjoy extra crit damage from Sharpshooter and Critical Power.

Should this fix work retroactively?

What I meant is that it's going to be a separate attack made with the same parameters. It will still contain all the bonuses you have and trigger additional bonuses depending on your state, it just calculates does against you (the secondary target) instead of copying those from the primary target.

However i can still entagle myself in acid. That's unacceptable after the nerf to infused siphoner boots.

I will decide what is acceptable and what is not around these parts!

but i feel really conflicted about the fact that i can see new enemies and encounters only along with difficulty that is pretty grindy.

They are present in all difficulties.

I couldn't reproduce it in a clean new game, so I guess it has something to do with the state of that area when the attack hits.

If you or someone else get into this situation again, make sure to keep the save.

I got two crashes today when finalizing the quest to attack the Scrappers with the Eels and with the support with SGS. When choosing the dialogue to go with either Roman and the SGS to attack Eddy directly or go with Silas and attack the front, whenever I chose to attack Eddy with Roman and the SGS I got a crash almost immediately after the fade to black screen when it tries to build up the level. I can see my buddies attacking for a brief moment and I see one corpse going down, I think it is the gate guard but then immediately I crash to desktop.

Can you provide the save just before the attack?

Nope - just tested this and I can't get out. If there's proper place I need to click I couldn't find it. :(

Secret area usually have two doors, one on each side - would a dev please confirm if it's me or a bug? Thanks.

Try clicking on the wall on your side or on the floor just in front of it.

In a fight of Lenox and Big Bret, despite bandages description "cannot use in combat" I was able to use bandages on anyone.

But you weren't in combat yourself, right?
