Hey there, long time no see!

I am back and I have some bugs for you:

Foundry, Mine Entrance: When talking to Saban (the guard who survived the creatures), and telling him "I don't think you can kill it alone", his response is spoken by "Unknown".

When going north from the Mine entrance, there's a Jackhammer in the niche in with the "Rubble" container, which can be picked up infinitely.

Also, when trying to disassemble a set of "Adaptive Goggles", the requirement for both electronics and mechanics was something around 500. I don't believe this was intentional?

That's all for now! :)

Old Jonas:
"been crawling through them tunnels"
"been crawling through the tunnels" ?

I think in the case of Old Jonas this could be slang. Also, I think the correction would look better, if it is corrected, as:

"been crawling through these tunnels"

Did you repair the furnace?

No. My character was never told by anyone in game, and I don't know where it might be. Where is it? I think we might have found my problem. :)

It's the big thing you're loading the metal into. Look around that area a bit, there's a guy that hangs around it.
'

Ah, found him. Odd, I can't remember seeing him there earlier when I was exploring the area. Was he there before the start of the quest? O.o

You need to start the melting process at the console once you load 30 blades.

I've got at least 45 blades in there, but all the options I get are "Turn Conveyor belt on/off", "Recall/Unload Cart" and "Leave it be".

It keeps telling me that activating it would not be a good idea at that point. Also, I don't think I can pick it up again, as it just gives me that message when clicked.

Also, I am not sure if Gloria is even on. Should there be some kind of animation signifying her working?

General / Fixing Gloria [SPOILERS]
« on: April 29, 2014, 09:14:39 pm »
Hey, I am trying to kill the beast. I've fetched Dan and that other guy from the mines (KILLING THE BEAST! HELL YEAH! Dan rocks.), and placed Ezra's device in front of Gloria. And now...I'm pretty stuck. I've tried filling the minecart with all the Chromium blades to be found, and emptied it into Gloria. I've turned on the conveyor belt, and they are all inside now. But I don't know how to continue.

I had told the Mayor about the plan, and now my task list says "Find another way to kill the beast" or something like that. I am worried that I might have accidentally messed up here. Or did I just miss something?

Found him, thanks to your hint. And now I feel a bit stupid for having missed this place. *facepalm*

If you mean in his house, I had met him before the quest, and now I've talked to his wife. I think I've looked nearly everywhere outside foundry. I ended up twice in Railcrossing by different paths, at least. A little hint maybe? :(

General / Hugo? [SPOILERS]
« on: April 29, 2014, 04:10:37 pm »
I've been looking for Hugo relating to the Faceless quest in Foundry, is it possible to find him in this version? Or is this something that will only be possible in the future?

I am quite happy with the carry capacity and the merchant system. I think Arclightshock's idea with the reduced price selling of items that fit the merchant's theme is a good idea. Then again, I have so much money by now, it doesn't really make much of a difference any more.  :P 8 full stacks of Stygian coins and another with 117, and two full stacks SGS plus one with 616.

What I usually do is recycle and convert anything I can into repair kits, which I use to repair my own stuff. What I can't convert because I don't have a high enough skill level, I try to sell. I don't bother with repairing the items I try to sell any longer, because by now most merchants can't pay for all the treasures I've amassed. I am still exploring, and even finding places I haven't been still.

I hit the level cap recently, in oddity mode. However, I've been playing on easy. Next update I'm going to try normal or hard. Right now I'm punching Crawlers, Psi Beetles and Rathound Alphas with my bare fists, and I didn't even focus on a melee build, but rather a stealth and diplomacy one. I used to play Fallout the same way, trying to avoid conflict...*sighs* playing the game without firing a single shot, at a human being, or sometimes even creature...)

Bugs / A collection of bugs, glitches and unreachable containers
« on: April 21, 2014, 11:23:39 pm »
Some unreachable containers:

Camp Hathor: Can't access the footlocker inside the backroom of the leader's house, since it's apparently facing the wall.

Foundry: In the area west of the main area (main area being where the shops and the bar are), inside the middle house at the southern edge of the screen. In the room with the a shelf and two lockers, the locker closest to the shelf can't be accessed.

Atop the tower in that western area, walking from one ladder to the other, I am suddenly walking on air instead of where I should walk. The walkmap seems to be incomplete or non-existant here.

General errors:

The item "Pig Leather" has the description for Rathound Leather.

When talking to Silas about the start of the final attack on the Scrappers, he says "Your SGS buddies will be attacking from the north[...]". However, I didn't manage to convince the SGS, so it should be the Protectorate instead.

Doc in Foundry, when being asked about the mine creatures.

"Getting pierced, clawed, torn to peaces[...]"

Should be "pieces"

General / Difficulty setting? (SPOILERS FOR JUNKYARD PATH, Possibly)
« on: September 28, 2013, 10:44:36 am »
Hey there, I purchased the Underrail recently because it looked intriguing and promising. And boy did it live up to that promise!

I am really enjoying this game. The feeling is great, and it actually reminds me of playing Fallout 1 and 2, but with even more of the good things in it. Also, love the ventilation shaft crawling. I love playing stealthy.

I do have some suggestions/questions though, and here they are:

- Will there be a general plot later on, or is it just exploring (which is fun too). It is great to discover and learn about the people in this setting, and I am sure it will be for a while. But a general plot keeping it all together would be nice.

- Will you add the option to change the difficulty? While I've managed to reach the Junkyard by now, I still have some difficulties with certain enemies (anyone with a sledgehammer O.o ), and it was quite a challenge to get by all those mind bugs in the caves on the way to the Junkyard. Fighting one was okay, but in a troop they really are difficult to manage. I did manage to only get the attention of one each, but sometimes that is just not possible, and if I have no other way around them, that results in an annoying reloading marathon - I am patient with this sort of thing, trying different approaches. But when I have to reload for the umphteenth time, it's not fun any longer.

These are of course just suggestions/questions, but I'd be happy if they were taken into consideration. :)
