Anyway, the experimental version has it fixed then. Hopefully we'll release it as a standard patch soon.

Are you playing the experimental version? I think I fixed this already, but maybe there's another dialog option looping you back that I've missed. In any case, it's indeed just a dialog bug and shouldn't have any gameplay consequences as far as I'm aware.

Fixed everything but Zaman's camera (will return to that at some later time) and a few gameplay related things which I've referred to Styg. Also, Blaine now locks his doors because, uh... things were going inside and killing him and his guards, and it makes sense in general for him to do so.

Fixed everything except for the lu-b11 stairs (and the glitched burrower).

Yes, some containers have been intentionally left unmarked. These commonly, as Fenix pointed out, contain oddities or some nice loot and are there for the more perceptive players to discover on their own. Some are, however, just good ol' bugs, so do keep reporting them. :)

Moved their patrol waypoints a bit. They're bound to bump into each other from time to time (#nohomo), but this should reduce the frequency.

The burrower behavior not intentional. In my game the burrowers roam normally in that area, as they should. Does this only happen when you're in stealth?

In Core City commons, there is a floating plate of food (chocolate cake?) between the electronic Gauntlet billboard and Moe's stall.
Only noticed this in the experimental version.



Nah, hopper leg (drumstick). You can see a bone sticking out to the left if you look carefully. Fixed for the next update. ;)

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but when expedition comes out, I should be able to level up and put points in mechanics?

You will be able to do that, as Fenix already pointed out. You'll need 115 effective mechanics skill to repair the gate.

Now, we are generally able to fix saves when nasty problems like these occur, but we've added some features to our current internal version which makes the saves made on it incompatible with the release version (released almost a year ago), and sadly there's no easy way to circumvent this at the moment. All that having been said, there is a way: you could use Cheat Engine to set your mechanics skill high enough. None of us devs use it so we couldn't give you any meaningful help, but a lot of the folks here do and could. So give that a shot, as waiting for us to release the expansion (or things in general) might not be the most wise thing. :)

I loaded the autosave from when the DC elevator stopped and you have to exit through the crack in the wall.  I made a beeline straight to mushroom forest and the repair bot, and both the latchers and the bot are hostile.

I went ahead and uploaded that one too if you want to see for yourself.

I see. Well, impossible to pinpoint it right now. We've fixed the problem so it shouldn't happen again, but I'm afraid it's too late for the little bot. :(

Okay, got the save, tried it out and the bot is hostile in our version too. Now, the bot belongs to what we call a neutral faction (to which creatures like cats, dogs, borers, certain npcs and the like belong as well). The thing is, members of this faction aren't supposed to broadcast their hostilities to other members if they get attacked (so attacking some stray cat doesn't make the cat from across the world turn hostile to you). That means there is or are some npcs out there that do broadcast it, and when you attacked it/them all of these neutral creatures turned hostile to you (all latchers are hostile to you in this save, for instance, adn they shouldn't be). With that said, I have a few questions which might help us find the culprit (we'll fix it some other way anyway, but it'd help us to know what's causing this).

Were the latchers hostile to you when you went down to DC (it'd mean the culprit wasn't something you attacked beforehand)? Did you by any chance become friendly with IRIS and then attacked her bots even though they are neutral? Do you have a save before Arke (or even from the start of DC) in which you could visit the bot and check if it's hostile?

Let's start with that. Hopefully it's something DC-related. Thanks in advance.

We prefer file storage services to e-mail, generally, but if all else fails it's acceptable. If you can't use Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive are the most popular alternatives. Then you just post the link to the file in the thread, and that's most convenient for us as the whole discussion and the save files are in one place. :)
