Yeah, that is not supposed to happen. The Faceless should be gone from the station, and the Praetorians should be patrolling around (and the guys from the zone before it, the ones that warn you not to proceed, should also be gone). However, on my end everything works just like I described. Could you perhaps send me your save, preferably if you have one just before fighting Tchort, as its death triggers this particular event?

Here's a screenshot of the Vault Odis key mentioned above.

There's a similar situation in CampHathor.

How old is that Hathor screenshot? That should've been fixed in 1.0.0.2. As for the Lost Vault key, that's been fixed in 1.0.0.8

@Tygrende Did you perhaps speak to the Tchortists before going over to the Faceless outpost? If you agreed to perform a certain job for them the Faceless will find that out and won't like it; the commander's response should be clear on why they are hostile toward you if that is the case. I remember using your save when I was testing the fix and your character passed the check, but there is always a possibility of some other bug being present.

Glad to see others have had more luck, though.

It was never intended for the player to be able to kill the Beast by conventional means. That didn't stop anyone from trying, of course, and I remember one player broke its armor right after the Foundry update was released by... punching it. Repeatedly. :D So, fixed the Beast not being immune to Expose Weakness and similar effects.

As for the quest itself, we have talked about tweaking some of the things that confuse the players in the future (adding more notes, NPC giving you more hints, etc.)

Fixed for the next patch. Did some testing with your saves and things seem to be behaving as they should. So, persuading the mindreader to let Buzzer live will no longer affect the player's score in DC negatively, and those who did just that need not worry as long as they haven't talked to the Faceless commander yet. Those of you who avoided talking to him can do so after the patch rolls out.

However, this bug could've also prevented some of you from even being allowed to enter the Faceless territory, as the two checkpoints are where the Faceless check whether the player has helped them in either RC or Foundry; those who did only RC, and resolved it by using persuasion, were most likely forbidden from passing through due to this bug. Sadly, there is no way to redo any of these failed checks.

Thanks for the saves (and the patience), and sorry about this nasty "feature."

I think we found the problem. If anyone has a save after persuading the mindreader to spare Buzzer's life (and before arriving to DC), please post it here so that we can test it properly. The fix should be retroactive, btw.

This issue should be fixed in the 1.0.0.2 patch, which is out for both Steam and GOG. If even after updating it doesn't work, let us know.

No bugs in this game, only features. As for the Weak Wall 3000 being upgraded to super-hidden-impossible-to-see secret passage, it isn't working properly, so we're sending it back to the manufacturer. A new one will be arriving with the next patch, which will also fix other features reported in this thread.
