Suggestions / Improve the "overall" feeling from some merchants

Hi.

It really pisses me off finding some merchants like "Big Bret" that seem utterly useless. I think BB should buy special bolts at least, or something else. The same may happen for some other merchants scattered around.

Bugs / Googles bonuses don't apply to crossbows at all

Hi underrailers.

I need confirmation. Currently playing a crossbow build. I have tested several googles (smart, etc) and they seem to no affect crossbows at all. Tested with a hurricane crossbow. Both damage (PER10 > PER11) and critical chance (8%) stayed THE SAME with or without googles.

Running latest version under Win10 x64.

General / Pistols versus SMGs

Hi.

Just testing several weapon loadouts.

Is it me or do pistols feel pretty underwhelming/dissapointing when compared to SMGs?  :-\

Invested heavily in crafting in both cases; SMGs win by a big margin to me.

Your thoughts?

Hello.

Does anybody know why some .44 pistols require 26 AP to shoot (DEX 8 + Gunslinger) and another ones 25 AP?

Is this a bug?

Hello Underrailers.

What about if "Aimed shot" cooldown would be reduced to two turns when you have the gunslinger feat? Another feat like "rifleman" would produce same results for Assault Rifles. For the remaining weapons the feat would be kept as currently is (three turns cooldown).

Aim would be to make pistols and Assault Rifles more desirable. Right now I think you must invest a lot for pistols for them to shine when compared to smgs. It's even worse for ARs, because of the lack of feats.

What do you think?

General / Is Underrail launching slowly? WD may be the culprit

Hello.

I have always wondered why Underrail took so much time launching from SSD. Running under W10 x64 I have found it's Windows Defender fault. I have swapped my AV program and Underrail now launches very fast.

Has anybody else experienced this behaviour?

Bugs / Minor inconsistency in GMS Compound

Hello Underrailers...

According to this screen capture, the old man says "you need to hack into the surveillance room but Sully has got the key". In all the playthroughs I have made I haven't had any trouble entering the surveillance room (without entering the cantina or talking to anyone else). Either this is an inconsistency or the hacking requirement is pretty low.

PS - I don't remember having to hack the door either.

Hello Underrailers.

During the Evelyn Ingram quest at Foundry, there is an unclickable shelf behind two refrigerators in the bunker area near the two torrets. No matter how you try you cannot click on it.  :P

I have started playing from scratch and I have just arrived to Junkyard. When talking to ambassador Athanas the first conversation line I have asking about the Free Drones. Why is this? I think it's impossible for my char to know of their existence so early...

Suggestions / Lock attack cursor/target during combat

Hello.

I think someone suggested the same on some thread.

It would be nice is attack cursor could be locked during combat OR that move and loot actions SHOULD BE performed using right mouse button.
It's pretty annoying when you are going to click on an enemy and end up clicking somewhere else.

I am posting here because I think this is not a bug.

When using the sorting options in inventory I noticed that 1) Batteries are listed under AMMO. 2) Bear Traps are listed under TOOLS.

Does it seem okay to you?

NVG energy consumption is too high imho. They get depleted quite fast.

Hello.

1. What do you think is the easiest route for weapon of choice for a crafter build? Explain why.
2. Should I start focusing on crafting since level 1 or should I wait a few levels (focusing on combat skills first). Both?
3. Oddity XP system or traditional one for crafters?
