pleas help me with deep caverns. i have played this part >20 hours and no i am brassed off. the game was wonderful but now
it is only frustrating. not hard, frustrating. i can handle the enemies but unlimited enemies suck.

the reasons:
* unlimited enemies. no game of this type i played in the past had this game mechanics. why? because it breaks the entire
  game mechanics. resource management is useless, experience system for killing enemies also -you get unlimited points.
* if you not handle the stuff in a limited time (the time you have resources) -you lose and have to retry the entire
  thing (20 hours for nothing if you are out of luck).
* no healing items. in combination with the unlimited enemies -yummy.
* no hints what to do or where to find some stuff (i.e. for repairing the hydraulic door)
* no area are named, i dont know where i am. i have to save the game and then look to the savegame description to figure
   it out. even if i get a hint "go the area x" i dont know where that area is because of that.

can you tell me where i can find

* the 3. hydraulic canister? have 2 found in the warehouse.
* the control valve?
* the exact procedure to get to door clean of this slime?
* i also need a key card to open the door? marias card? where to find?
* it is right that i must power up the door-section? if yes, which is the exact name of this area?

in fact i need a detailed walktrough for the deep caverns because i have no more passion/energy to do it myself.

please disable this unlimited enemies and add a map with fast travel system to the areas you always visited. the entire
game would imho me benefit from that.

p.s.
the forum software seems to be dont support apostrophes of any kind. if such character applies in the text, the rest is cut off. i had to rewrite 90% of this post because exactly this was happen after posting the text.

i think, deep caverns is the only but big design flaw in the game. reasons:
* unlimited enemies. no game i played in the past had THIS game mechanics. why? it ruins the entire game. ressource-management are useless. frustrating.
* no healing stuff to find. in combination with the unlimited enemies -yummy.
* no hints where to find the needed parts (door). no map, no fast travel. you are forced to try and error >=20 hours to find it out and if you made a mistake or take to long (out of healing ressources) -restart the 20 hours part. very frustrating.
example: it is not possible to know where i am actually in the map. the areas has no names, i must save and look, how the savegame description was named. arke power station: i have 10 possibilities to power up an area. but i dont know where this area is.

my hint:
disable the unlimited enemies and add a map with fast travel to the locations you are always visited. this would be a great benefit. the entire game would imho benefit from a map and a fast travel system.

well -this sucks. please dev, disable this. unlimited enemies are always crap especially you have limited ressources and cant leave the area.

i am in the deep caverns and it seems to me the enemies are endless respawning, if i reenter an area. is this correct?
endless enemies suck because i havent endless ammo, health...

it is really needed to install security systems (i.e. turrets, bots) in your house, i mean -exists randomly or scripted assaults on your home by gangsters or other people? this would be fun, but if not -i save the money for other things.

me too. this game is a true gem, i still cant believe it, that this was a one man project most of the time.
this game+mechanics+extent are fare better than every commercial project of this type i know. and in this companies >10 developers working simultaneous on a project like this.

the old graphics was still on 1.0.0.2. then, as i updated to 1.0.0.6 i saw the new one. >:(
this was the old one:



the new one doesnt fits imho to the overall impression.
i personally would replace the new one with the old graphics file in my underrail folder if possible. but properly this would not that easy. :-X

my south gate station elevator graphics are changed. imho the old one looked WAY better. the new looks blurred.

if you accept grovers suggestion and meet grover and tressa in the backyard and kill both instandly on sight to make things short, the quest will stay in the questlog unfinished forever instead of disappearing or be marked as failed.

Bugs / v1.0.0.0 key config bug

hello,

the 1.0.0.0 (gog) has a annoying bug in the key configuration. if i reassign the scroll keys (i.a. right) to another function (in my case notes window) and i reload a game and press this key, he opens the notes window but simultaneously he scrolls the the right forever (cant be cancelled). this is very annoying, because i play with the mouse in the left hand and want to use the arroy-keys on my own.

another thing: please make it possible to reassign EVERY key command. the left shift command (for reloading options) is not comfortable reached if you play with left hand (must cross over with the right hand).

p.s.

great game ! it is better than ja2 (imho) which is saying something.

your forum sodtware cannot escape apostrophes, he cuts off the rest of the sentence.
