I guess pistols could get away with regular pistol user graphics, while same would not fit for energy rifles, which just do not look like assault rifles.

Because of technical limitations, every weapon needs a sprite sheet for every char in the game, redoing animations and going back to older chars takes a lot of development time that we didn't have.

Actually, not every character would need to be updated. Just character models used by player and any enemy characters that would use such weapon.


Still, it is kind weird that energy weapons are limited to pistols.

But heavy armor is bad for your Snipe feat.

But is it?
Only requirement for the Sniper is to get 30 skill points in the stealth.
You can then drop putting any more points in the stealth and use heavy armor.

I'd love to see a feat where you can have a third slot for pistols

Make it slot for one-handed weapons instead (pistols, daggers, etc...).

How do you lure her out? I haven't been able to determine that thus far. As for persuasion, I thought it might have been option but my guy is as persuasive as a toad.

Yes, with persuasion you can lure her our, by telling her his boyfriend hangs with other girl.
Then, when she is alone in south caverns, just use flash-bang grenade to incapacitate her.

Currently playing "craftless" character. On the other hand have both lockpicking and hacking.

Currently in Railroad Crossing and no issues so far.
In fact, less loot to keep, more loot to sell.


Anyway, If I would to play low-tech character, I think I would still take at least lockpicking. Its just so versatile (loot, doors, vents...)

This is still the case in the release version of the game.

And when we are at this, what actual items count as "armor parts"? I'm not sure if I encountered any.

Yeah... I agree, it is kind late game option, while some way to reduce tedium with item trading should come earlier.

.

Anyway, first thing that should be implemented is some way to include stashes in the merchant screen.

Idea is to keep encumbrance important when going into field, but when in friendly territory, going between stashes and merchants is just extra unneeded tedium to the gameplay.
