Just a heads-up... Armor Sloping spec just got changed. It got compressed from 5 to 2 ranks. Reload the page (Ctrl+F5 to force refresh.)
Great! Pretty much all the crafting specializations could use some compression, imho.

Now just awaiting Styg to finish revamping all the firearms sometime in 2021 so Gun Nut can become useful again...

This is pretty good. Though not sure how soft padding on your head (which increases stealth for body armor and boots) would work; I can't visualize it unless your character is a bumbling idiot ;p

Brave Sir Robin: a stealthy character who avoids combat whenever possible, playing on oddity. No idea what to take for weapons for the occasions when a fight is unavoidable.

Anyone could recommend something? I haven't played in some time, so I have no idea what has changed and is/isn't viable for a stealth character. I just need something for the boss battles, he'll be running the other way most of the time.  ;)
Permastealth-Psi builds probably abusive. The coupling of Thermodynamic Destabilization + doubled TK punch and/or Cryo Orb will massacre 99% of opponent clumps in the game, if you build correctly.

It's true you can do without dodge or evasion as a psy. Though, I think it's more forgiving that way.

However I agree, most of the advices are maybe not perfect for min maxing, but will definitely work on normal.
You can also split the difference, max EVA and buy enough Dodge for Uncanny Dodge; I prefer cutting dodge on ranged characters and using Uncanny to get myself out of trouble.

Also there are reasons to use riot gear with shields now, so you might consider that when building a new character.

Just to clarify: do you suggest that only components can be ordered, or finished items as well?
Because if you can orders finished items, crafting becomes effectively redundant.
Finished items with limited mods would be fine, imho. Better yet, also work in some Unique Upgrading mechanic as well.

Well, with the new Temporal Abilities you can just use Psi as a way to buff yourself and focus on your DEX/PER for SMG facerolling. I don't think it's efficient especially given the -25% HP from taking The Pill, but its an option.

Lists what skills you need for each component. As for how much skill you need, it scales with quality of components. Someone posted a chart what the max quality possible (and what effective skill rating you'd need) to craft specific items.

Mid-late game you definitely want to use Psi Beetle. If you cut CON, you might want Sturdy Vest, otherwise customize based on needs. Same with Overcoat, customize according to your style/needs.

If they're going to be adding other PC-controlled combat entities, I'd much rather prefer a party of characters we could recruit.

This would also make the Charisma stat relevant again and require an unholy amount of coding/revision/change, so I just don't see it happening.

This absolutely works, but combo triggers on the third hit, so it takes some management to get them to line up.
High Dex builds can still get 12 or more attacks a turn without too much trouble.  It's pretty nice when it all comes together.
What's your favorite fast-attack psi-monk build? 16DEX? What secondary do you prioritize, WIL or STR?
