Yeah, high dex wouldn't care about initiative; it just feels out-of-flavor, that's all.

Mufflers affect Precognition? What about Psi Beetle Carapace? Do they affect Force Emission as well? I thought the psi-cost reducing stuff wouldn't, was a little mad Tranquility didn't affect my Fist Jedi build.

2) Dodgy Temporal Puncher. I wanted to see how Dodge/Evasion will interact with Precognition. I didn't go too heavy on WIL and AGI since i wanted max DEX and 7 INT for Skinner. Without going much into details - it works pretty well. Temporal Disortion was a really nice addition to my melee build.
How do you deal with psi drain? I find that at very high dex and with low int/low will Force Emission is pretty draining, and Precognition looks like it will increase the drain rate even more.

Or do you just repeatedly inject whenever you get low?

Also, I find it very weird precognition doesn't affect initiative.

Crafting limits are already because of balance reasons. IRL there's no reason I can't run an Emag, a laser, a scope, a muzzle device and a 45 degree canted holosight for CQB on an assault rifle (if I can afford all the parts).

Of course, IRL a $2000 5.56mm assault rifle will do about the same damage as $500 assault rifle (of the same barrel length); you're just paying for ergonomics, ease of use, and accuracy.

So, is there really any reason to take a Smart Module on ARs and SMGs, instead of a more useful attachment?
No, and I want to know what the optimal fit is now.

Muzzle device + Laser? Rapid Reloader? There are also reports that Forward Grip adds more burst precision than Laser...

Only savescummed in some scene like Lurker base (you know, bastards can shoot you with their SR from 13+ tiles away and you can't even see them). Otherwise, prepare a high-end infused pig leather armor is also doable.
With a High/High Shield Emitter and about 50% mechanical resist, sniper bullets just bounce off of you.

I do find it annoying how EMP and electric spiders make all my electronics useless...

If you're anything like the rest of us you'll end up replaying the game many times anyway. Nothing else really measures up to be honest  :P
In terms of crafting system and feats design, Underrail is the best in a modern RPG. It has an amazing stealth system as well.

I prefer Age of Decadence/Dungeon Rats combat/skills system though.

Oh cool. Didn't know that about flares I thought they're only good for reveling hidden enemies.
Flares or NVGs are super important for shooting in dark areas. Otherwise your accuracy will drop to trash-tier.

well men, actually i tried normal difficulty and shooting range in sgs, wich is illuminated...
Many areas of SGS are not fully illuminated.

Thanks, i know that i can add scopes but they do not offset the decrease of precision due to the continuous increase in required skill: atm, with 10 perc and a <50ql rifle, maxed skill at 11th level, i often have from 30 to 50% chance to hit a target inside optimal range.
This sounds like a lighting problem.

Try using a flare/torch/Molotov/other light source on your target, or some NVGs. I prefer NVGs, but they have some stiff drawbacks, depending on your build.

Alternatively, if your target is well lit and you still have trouble hitting them, it's possible your perception is too low.

Finally, if you have a 10+ PER build and NVGs and you're still at 50% CTH with maxed skills, try playing on something less than DOMINATING. Dominating is completely unbalanced with enemy stat/skill scaling...

You can add a scope to your AR to increase it's accuracy, or barrel compensator if your using mostly bursts.

There's a guy who beat dominating at level four using AR bursts.
This sounds amazing. I've gunned down 15+ enemies in a single turn by emptying a smart muzzled 762 Hornet (adren, muzzle, full auto, commando, obv) but I wasn't aware it's single target damage could rival Sniper builds. Is there a link to this feat?
