General / Re: So, is the game officially *done*?

I wish I knew something to tell you guys. :x They've been working on this thing behind the scenes since February if not longer. Whatever it is, it's going to be big.

AAAAAAAAh, I can't take it! The hype is unreal for me... Underrail did so many things right. So many things that you don't find in other games these days.

Holy shit, maybe Styg & Co has Created a real life Tchort and has been making clandestine trips to the earth's core to feed it since February?
Man, what a letdown that would be. I was hoping for something game-related.

Also, I agree with snake2243. Although I hope it will be finished soon-ish (not many years from now). But I do hope they charge well-deserved money for it.

Well, remember that he said the announcement would most likely come soon and this year. He didn't say that whatever he was going to announce would.

What's the question?  :D

Not quite yet, but that's a nice idea for my next playthrough.
So far I've done full psiker, big guy with assault rifle and hammer, and now, sniper.

I'm contemplating going for a "bleed" build as my next move.

I hope it's an expansion, because I am ready to give my money to Styg&Co almost regardless of what it is (as long as it is Underrail related).

While I agree that psychokinesis is indeed not very "exciting", it has some very important bread and butter skills. Wall is amazing. Same with telekinetic punch and electro-thingy (for robots).
Low con and dodge/evasion is certainly an interesting choice. Seems not only challenging, almost deliberately gimped. Will be interesting to see how this turns out! Also, is that 10 AGI i see? Unorthodox and challenging build for sure.  :)

I like your focus on mobility over health, but I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable with this kind of a build myself. Let it be known that as far as psi builds go, there are definitely easier ones around there, but I suppose having an easy playthrough was probably never the intention.

General / Re: Pyrokinetic Stream and Action Points

While it doesn't explicitly state it, the "plus an additional time for every 10 spare action points and 5 spare psi points remaining after the initial invocation"-part strongly implies it.
It would be a bit odd if it dealt surplus damage for remaining action and psi points without draining it. I suppose it could make sense in the fact that it is a short range skill and therefore would reward a more reckless end-turn positioning, but that doesn't explain the psi part.

tl;dr: I feel like it's obvious enough what it does.

Basically, what MirddinEmris said about stat allocation.
As for the skills, my first complete run of the game was full psionics (maxed out all three psi branches) and it was a breeze. Tchort fight was mindless (just ran up to him and spammed neural overload, popping health hypos and psi boosters as needed).

It's a real fun build to go though. Just make sure you are on the lookout for psionic mentors. There are a lot of cool and useful psi skills that aren't taught by Quinton/Bisson/Ezra.
Key to this playstyle is good juggling of disables (fear, subversion, stun from that telekinetic punch, freeze) and good use of psi wall or whatever it's called. It's very much a build where you are rewarded for proper management of cooldowns, both on skills and on consumeables.

Edit: forgot to mention something. The only kind of opponent this build is sub-optimal against is robots. If you feel telekinetic punch and psi wall thingy aren't good enough reasons to get psychokinetics alone (and they really are), know that the electroshock bouncy-attack thing (can't remember the names of the skills for shit) is also nice to have for situation where you have to fight robots, seeing as how it stuns them and doesn't have a cooldown (albeit a high psi cost).

Found it. Takes quite a while to get familiar with the terms used in DC, but now that I've done some deeper questing I'm getting the hang of it.

To make DC easier I used this awesome map that some guy made, it's here for those who are interested: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/complete-underrail-map.107263/
Solid gold. Strange that he hasn't posted it here (afaik) ???

I don't agree that Azif's motivation for finding Wit Nosek points towards him being biocorp. There is way too many reasons for a man working at an intelligence gathering organization, in the current climate, assisting Six, to want information about biocorp projects.

For all we know it could be Six's idea, to learn more about what process was used to create Tchort.

Six should already know, or Six should already know who to ask: Faceless. Afterall, he even told us for being an ally.
Furthermore Six wouldn't even know how Wit Nosek and Tchort are related. If Six would've contacted Faceless (which should've been a first people to ask, if you ask me) it becomes obvious that Tchort is product of "Project Dynamics" - AKA mutagen research.

Wit Nosek's research only involved "Project Ark"  - immortality research. Something Six definitely already have and don't need another one for.
Alright, so we scrap the Six part. I still don't see how this points towards Azif being biocorp.

Certain named psionics do not feature psi bars - such as Six and Dude.
It should also be noted that possible side effect of mutation could involve loss of psi ability... since there are no mutant/mutie psionics.(which I always found strange)
For what it's worth: If you turn into a mutant during "Gas the drones" you lose your psi bar.

I agree it's possible that it was an effect of the monoliths, although nothing suggests that the non-psi HE staff that interacted with and harvested the pillars developed any kind of psi abilities, with the exception of Wasi Abdul, maybe.
Also remember that Biocorp had no knowledge of the monoliths/pillars, and even Hollow Earth existed for many years before they discovered them. For example psimorphs were created before the discovery, but using shards on them later had many beneficial effects on their development.
It would probably help if we knew whether the monoliths are exclusive to the south, or present in all Underrail.
I seem to recall that there was something about them in Caerus, but I might be entirely mistaken. In any case, thanks for all the lore, I greatly appreciate it! I'm fascinated by it, but I can't remember all of the details yet.

Even more unrelated, but if anyone knows what the abbreviations SAI, SC, and NRS stand for in the game, I would really appreciate the information.
Where do they show up? I swear at least NRS sounds like something I knew what stood for, but like the rest of this, I can't remember the context.

Where can I see this on steam? The last update Steam wants to tell me about occured 18.02.2016 as far as I can tell. Are hotfixes not shown or something?
Just curious about this. The game is working just fine, so no worries either way.

I seem to recall that someone suggested that Ezra was Anton Matveev, though I'm not sure why him in particular, after re-reading the logs.

Someone didn't hack the Oculus terminal. Let me help you with that.

Note to self: Hack stuff. Thanks, though!

Edit: Tried it now and I remembered that I had in fact already done it, just that I didn't understand what they who they were hinting at. Vovin, though?
Quinton? That one doesn't seem as obvious to me.
