General / NPC Trap Detection

Hello,

I'm looking for some information on how NPCs detect the player's placed traps. Is there some sort of skill value for each NPC, is it player trap skill dependent, or something else entirely? I have 38 in traps right now and the mutants in the junkyard won't walk over even the bear traps, so I was just wondering if I need to increase my skill, or if human NPCs are always going to see my traps, or what have you.

Hello,

On my playthrough, shielded bladeling eyes are listed as requiring 70 biology, but actually attempting to craft the recipe calls for 77. Could not find any information related to this via google or forum searching.

Hello UnderRail forums,

After talking to Todor,  I shut myself in with the supervisor, killed them, wiped the cameras, and figured, since there were no witnesses, I'd be all right. Unfortunately I gained aggro somehow. So I reloaded, went around the corner, killed the only guard that could've seen me through the window. Still get aggro. I killed half the guards in the prison, and I could kill the rest, but I would very much like to keep Delma from aggro so I can pursue the quest line, and it doesn't seem possible to aggro her sniper without her as well (for all I know, she aggroed when I killed the supervisor). Is there any sort of save editing, or console command I can do to remove aggro and preserve my nearly 40 hour game? I'd hate to have to walk away at this point (Can't stomach another restart so soon, already done it twice due to poor builds). All my saves currently have at least the supervisor dead.

Sorry to bother, I know this seems to be not a bug? I am very confused as to the purpose of psi skill synergy or items such as psionic headbands as I can find nowhere in the wiki or online that says that specific psi skills are for anything other than new spell purchasing (and feats).

My question is:

Do psi skills affect anything aside from feats and spells? Do they influence damage within the specific school? Or resist checks? What is the purpose in having a skill higher than your base?

edit: Epeli: In other words, what is "pretty much everything else"?

Is that so? In doing my research, it seems to me psi ability level is for only one thing, to unlock new spells? It doesn't influence damage or anything else? If that is the case why have synergy at all?

1.0.0.10, All my actual psi abilities are 23, with my effective at 30, I can't purchase any abilities from any trainer at 25, 30. As far as I can tell, this is only applying to psi (lockpicking/hacking work, items show white text instead of red).
