Generally you are better off with throwing gauntlet and using throwing knives to restore AP. But honestly it does not matter what you put into your offhand with firearm pistols build. They are that strong.

As for specifics.

Polymath feels like waste.
10 int for specialist .. its very strong feat sure. But power from it comes so late I generally prefer not to pick it and have easeir early/mid game (Which are the hardest on DOM).
I would take gunslinger earlier. In place of recklessness maybe?

Extra Health and skill value are all nice and interesting, but what would really shake the meta for DOM veterans would be two sliders

Additional AP for enemies
Additional MP for enemies

Both would have 0-20 value, and there could be a randomize checkbox that would give each enemy random value from 0 to the value selected, so each enemy would be slightly different.

I tried messing with the new console, and I was looking for fusion frame ID. I looked around a lot but were unable to find it. I found the fusion emitter blueprint.
Anyone has ID for the frame?

Use  Low/Low.

Shields by its nature work well vs distant/fast attacks and poorly vs slow ones. You will never get a a good very low speed value (50 is close to impossible), but you can get decent crosbow protection. Also use efficient convertor for better shield eHP.

Against melee attacks you should employ different means of defence depending on your build. Metal armour, Moving away, stun/fear, bear traps etc

Fatal throw is not about the "finisher", its about the AP refund, you spend +-9 AP, and get 27 in return, giving you 2 shots extra in BT, and unlike killing spree you can do this before and after stasis.

Constitution is too high unless you really love it. Perception would offer you more.

Thick skull is bait imho. Not sure if you need that many point in TM.

There is quite more perks that are good with chemical pistols (aimed shot, point shot, kneecap shot, execute, opportunist, steadfast aim, sharpshooter ...)

But best synergy for sure is with crossbow and deadly snares.

It is linked to the world, so yes you can import. Coral works via trigger so you can meet her after 10h, even if you visit all locations she can be in, and many of them are also after drilling.

Build that has imho most interaction with crafting and has most engaging combat are crossbows. They are weak vs armour but have good versatility in special bolts that will force you to craft. Usually coupled with traps to guaranteed criticals when ambush is not available. Some people use versatility and pair them with chemical pistols for entaglement.

They are by no means strongest in underrail, but still good enough to complete the game (if you prepare well).

I'm playing on Dominating difficulty.
I can see a change in prices when I equip and unequip Waist Pack (+10 Mercantile), but there's no change when I upgrade my Mercantile by 10 or more.
Also after levelling up and upgrading my Mercantile skill, equipping and unequipping Waist Pack does not change prices anymore either.

Cap on sell price on DOM is quite low (25%) so you can reach it relatively quickly. I do not know exact numbers from top of my head.
