Bugs / You can recycle items despite not having high enough skill

Noticed it with the miner helmets, but just did it with a rathound leather armor too.

edit:  pretty sure its the minimum requirement for the category of item rather than quality-based

Suggestions / Movement feat for spears

Either a static buff or a turn-long ability you activate that gives you bonus damage for each mp used before an attack.  Dunno what the ratio should be, dunno if it should cap at x mp, whatever.  Spears are a generalist weapon and aren't really synergetic with mp (increased melee range, throw ability), but spears are seen as the worst melee weapon right now due to their low damage output (they do have very nice specials however, and this feat would make them even better).  Ive seen several people talk about wanting a "charge" feat; this would be it in a way. 

I was thinking that you'd need to click on your enemy from where you are to start the count, other people want it to just keep track of your mp use in general (which leads to goofy shit like running circles around your enemy before attacking).

First!

I'm betting the game will be set in Hexagon.  Not the north, just Hexagon, and maybe it's immediate surroundings.  A huge city "world". 

The dialogue with Six indicates that Hexagon is important to the story.  Seeger gave us some detailed info of juicy stuff going on in Hexagon.  Aran, the most unique enemy npc (imo) was from Hexagon.  It is in the north, but isn't dominated by the protectocuckery.  "Infusion" suggests some kind of enhancement to the self, similar to the faceless canisters; makes me think of shadowrun-style cybernetics.  Some of the unique jet skis in expedition are from Hexagon.  Just seems to be a lot pointing in that direction.  Also, since its not underrail 2, just a stand-alone expansion itself, I don't think it's setting would be the entire north; that's too big.  Could be anywhere else though; maybe somewhere we haven't heard anything about.

Suggestions / Toxic barrels

The new contaminated 12.7mm round got me thinking; we find toxic sludge barrels but they are never an environmental challenge like other exploding barrels (except when they are surrounded by gas I guess), you only get toxic sludge from them.  However, we find napalm barrels but can't get napalm from them.  That's inconsistent.  Anyway, toxic barrels you can shoot that start putting out toxic gas like a grenade (but maybe instantly?) would be cool and dangerous, and the usual suspects could throw them (and a hit would deal bio damage like a contaminated round in addition to creating a cloud).

Suggestions / Let sniper rifles see farther

The player has a set vision range.  Let the player see farther than that if they have a weapon with a range farther than that, matching the range.  So up to 20 with a sniper rifle, but only while the sniper rifle is the active weapon.  It would make sense if it only worked in the direction the player is facing, and maybe even only while "focused".  Right now in underrail, sniper rifles are the weakest gun type, so it's a balance concern, but it would also just be a really neat feature imo. 

Also, it would be good if there was an option to have the player change their facing direction without having to move.  Kinda bugged me in my runs where I have good detection; you want to be facing any incoming stealth enemies.

I was thinking; since you can wear, for instance, kevlar balaclavas and tabis that grant some DT, why not a kevlar shirt/jacket that grants some?  Just some DT, nothing else, but has no armor penalty.  Same for the other cloths.  If making models is easy enough to bother.

I recently saw someone say they think HE's should daze living enemies for a turn.  I thought that was fitting and would help make them suck less.

Suggestions / An environmental debuff

So, I was thinking about how many maps have narrow paths over big falls or other dangers.  Irl I would normally have a small fear debuff that inhibits my will to move, making it harder to commit to certain actions.  For this, make it a resolve check or gain a debuff called "vertigo" that lowers your mp, dodge/evasion, and maybe melee skills while near precarious ledges.  Or maybe just your agility and dexterity on their own.

This may be intended, but corrosive acid doesnt reduce the acid or bio resistance of armor (just the threshhold), or at least the cau/bio boots.

For people with a high electronics skill, it would be neat if you could make TNT or even mines that you could detonate from a distance with the press of a button.  Also, the ability to place a camera and then look through it remotely like with surveillance camera screens.

The secret vent in the very SE corner of hollow earth is a dialogue interaction that pops you out of stealth.
