There are a few enemy types that will give tincan ARs a hard time, but its the kind of build you basically cant go wrong with.

Noticed it with the miner helmets, but just did it with a rathound leather armor too.

edit:  pretty sure its the minimum requirement for the category of item rather than quality-based

Either a static buff or a turn-long ability you activate that gives you bonus damage for each mp used before an attack.  Dunno what the ratio should be, dunno if it should cap at x mp, whatever.  Spears are a generalist weapon and aren't really synergetic with mp (increased melee range, throw ability), but spears are seen as the worst melee weapon right now due to their low damage output (they do have very nice specials however, and this feat would make them even better).  Ive seen several people talk about wanting a "charge" feat; this would be it in a way. 

I was thinking that you'd need to click on your enemy from where you are to start the count, other people want it to just keep track of your mp use in general (which leads to goofy shit like running circles around your enemy before attacking).

That's pretty neat.  Underrail can't show vertical things very well; the city is supposed to basically be a giant pillar in a large open vertical space, with a bunch of lateral columns connecting to the spaces walls.

First!

I'm betting the game will be set in Hexagon.  Not the north, just Hexagon, and maybe it's immediate surroundings.  A huge city "world". 

The dialogue with Six indicates that Hexagon is important to the story.  Seeger gave us some detailed info of juicy stuff going on in Hexagon.  Aran, the most unique enemy npc (imo) was from Hexagon.  It is in the north, but isn't dominated by the protectocuckery.  "Infusion" suggests some kind of enhancement to the self, similar to the faceless canisters; makes me think of shadowrun-style cybernetics.  Some of the unique jet skis in expedition are from Hexagon.  Just seems to be a lot pointing in that direction.  Also, since its not underrail 2, just a stand-alone expansion itself, I don't think it's setting would be the entire north; that's too big.  Could be anywhere else though; maybe somewhere we haven't heard anything about.

Basically anything is viable.  TM goes especially well with swords; I basically only use TM with swords.  That said, I have designed a non-psi version, but I've never played it and I don't know that it all works together.

The quick tinkering is for placing down HE mines and stepping on them in combat.

You could drop the con and get decapitate if you wanted; not exactly sure what feat I would drop in that case.  This would get you tungsten chetes too, or the claymore. 

The main thing that changes is you have a lot less room for error; less mp, longer CDs, no stasis turn-extender.

I already suggested one right inside the caves from the rail crossing train.  They probably think its too much.  They want you to suffer through beetles to get anywhere.
