You'd have to have insane high perception to auto-detect deathstalkers, which is the only way to detect them when unstealthed before they start combat on you.  You have to be in stealth before you can detect them, basically, but their auto-detect is fairly high so your stealth needs to be decent.

You can't join one and then switch. 

A lawful good character likely wouldn't join either of them.  Protectorate is LN at best, free drones are NG at the most.  There are plenty of hints before joining either that the protectorate isn't "good" (in the D&D sense).  There's enough exp in the game several times over to hit max level without either questline.

Is it possible to keep him alive? I tried to on my pacifist run but I think you cannot hand in the quest if you run from the map. I think it would be great if one could let Bogdan live as this would make the JKK questline bloodless.

No, that's what I was trying.  AFAIK, there's no way to finish that quest with him alive.

I was testing if you can complete the quest without killing him, so I flared him and ran.  He followed and got caught in one of his own bear traps.

Pirates questline, when you bring Grim the acorn and go see the professor, not long into the conversation Grimm says:
"I admit, I was surprised, if a bit disappointed by it after you've told me."
should be "after all you've" I think

Also, shortly after this he tells D'flinga to leave, and he does in the dialogue, but he's still there on the screen during the conversation.

Later on, he says:
"As my...armies grew, so could I was given a chance to employ the other skills I was taught."
I'm not sure what he's trying to say there, but something is wrong.

Bugs / Donnie's inventory

I have 0 mercantile.  After doing some missions for the pirates, he was selling his special inventory (I assumed it was a reward).  The thing is, he's selling a ton of stuff, it's like there are three special inventories worth of stuff if I had to guess.  I'm talking like 15 stacks of nets, equal number of caltrops, five of each gun type, three stacks of three fishing rods each, etc.

Bugs / Dirty Kick seems to be bugged

I'm doing some tests to see how high I can get my dirty kick damage.  The range on the quickslot says 432-741.  I have a high crit chance with regular attacks (50%), im getting opportunist, and I have monster slayer.  I'm attacking a stunned rathound.  It always says "opportunist" with each kick, and sometimes it says "critical hit", yet I never do more than 741.
