Enemies have a smaller sight radius than the player, but their max attack range is farther than the players.  You may have noticed that the player can only see 14 squares away, while some weapons have a range farther than that, yet you can only shoot a target up to your sight range (except immobile targets like explosive barrels I think).  This is intentional on styg's part and it's supposed to be a kind of balance, also it's supposed to make it so being shot by a sniper feels like being shot by a sniper in that you can't actually see them shooting you. 

So, you'll never be attacked by anybody that was never in your sight range to begin with; if you're being sniped, that person has been within your sight radius before at some point (may have been in stealth though).

Personally I think swords are the best melee weapon.  The damage potential is insane.

The ideal route is max dex with minimal str (5 or 7), focusing on crits, which means you're also good with knives.  I use a knife in my off-hand for when flurry is on cooldown or against very weak or heavily wounded enemies.  Machetes do more damage per hit than fists or knives, especially on crits, doubly especially if onslaught is built up, and once you add in flurry you can get down to 3.33 AP per attack. 

Granted I've never played a psi-monk (past lvl 8 ) or spear character (at all), but I have played knives and sledges.

When you join the pirates, if you ask Grim where to start on the ruins, he says the mutie refuge and that it's "east" of the expedition camp; it's west. 

If you talk to Donnie about port crag, at one point he says "Anyways, we use Port Ceto as an extension of Port Ceto". 

Katya, if you ask her about the monolith, starts talking about will.  She says "Only with it will can you..."

Razor, if you ask him who is better with blades between him and D'flinga, at one point he says "Ain' on one slicker than me"

Edgar in camp hathor, if you ask how he became leader, says Gideon the previous leader died while "hunting Crawler." 

Rathound king, if you try to intimidate him when you first talk to him, your line ends with "you got another think coming."

Tanner, after returning from the rail crossing quests, when you tell him you helped rail crossing, he asks why the faceless attacked, the first response option has you telling him what buzzer said about the object the acid hunters have "device currently in hands of"; should be "in the hands of".

Protectorate marines on patrol are not hostile even if the rest of protectorate is. 
edit:  while in a protectorate cruiser
edit 2:  the outposts on the waterways weren't hostile either, even on foot (until you get too close, but they should be red from the start, I think)

Well, free drones one has to move through three map exits to get into the free drones base. 
University one has to move through...three to get to apogee.

No, only metal boots.

What kind of boots?

Well I was thinking boots of the same kind as his armor, but with spikes or blades.

The move-point bonus ignores armor penalty like sprint on the turn that you cast it, but on following turns it doesn't.
