Interesting :)

Is psychostatic electricity good with only 50 effective psychokinesis ? (Edit : well i suppose it is since even a low damage will trigger it, i'll consider taking it)

My idea was to burn ennemies with metathermics and molotovs in order to trigger ambush, but i don't know how pratical this can be. By the way the wiki says nothing about the "chance" to burn enemies with pyromaniac, anyone knows ?.

Your build looks interesting ! though lacking a bit of crowd control i think (only flash bangs and taser i guess, maybe electroshock pistol ?).

What will be your main weapons ?

I see no reason to wait lvl 22 for spec ops, it's such a good feat, if you want it take it as soon as possible !

 Also with those stats i'd pick escape artist because i hate dying to throwing nets and acid entanglement, but it's not mandatory.

Otherwise i usually chose higher int for more "breathing room" (dunno if you can say that in english) skill points wise, but if you cheked 4 int was enough fo your needs it's all for the best.

If i remember correctly you can reveal the door after talking to his neighbors even with low perception. Don't know about the perception check

Knives are not bad, all about using electroshock+crit since unlike combat gloves you can make a serrated knife with 130% critical damage bonus, then get Cheap Shots and Critical Power to raise it up to 300% for 400% total damage, then just find ways to raise your critical chance of which there are plenty.

Yes that's my build for now and it's not bad but quite harder than my others playthrough where i used either fists, smgs, energy and chemical weapons. I can't clear the corretech warehouse in dominating for now for example (lvl 16 on oddity system), never had this issue before.


Dayum, I have even saw Blaine sells shield emitter blueprint before I entered Depot A. Have you seen it on previous versions?

Not sure for Blaine but i had some runs in previous versions where i'd been able to craft a shield before depot A so i don't think it's new.

Yes Knife always feels a bit underwhelming compared to other weapons.

Currently trying a pure knife/throwing build and it's quite hard, i'll probably pick sure step and quick pocket (already have packrathound) so i'll be able to use more special tactics.

Btw you are playing the last experimental version ? Which means SMG are still good after the "smart" nerf ?

I tried this tactic against the lunatics near tchort institute in dominating, and i'm pretty sure i broke line of sight for at least 4 turns hiding in a shop after killing a guy from afar, yet i couldn't end combat mode and they eventually found me with seemingly perfect knowledge of my position.

But i'll do other tests when i can, if breaking line of sight for 2 or 3 turns is really all that it takes it will have a huge impact on my way of playing and makes stealth even more powerful !

Edit : oh i think i get it thanks to Tygrende : you have to break line of sight for multiple turns WHILE being in stealth right ? What i did was going in stealth mode AFTER breaking line of sight for multiple turns.

Pretty cool yet somewhat hidden feature ! I played hundreds of hours without ever noticing that  :o

Hello everyone,

A simple question : what are the exact conditions for ennemies to enter/not enter combat (allowing you to end it) when you kill one (or more) ?

So far to me it seems that for not triggering other ennemies combat mode :

- you must not be in line of sight of any other ennemy (obvious) ;

- ennemy being killed must not be in line of sight of any other (not super sure about it).

Am i right or missing something ?


And by the way is there any way to restealth and end combat mode by not being seen by the ennemy for a set number of turn (not incapacitating them) ?

I used to eat mainly rathound barbeque for the +10 carry capacity, now i'll think twice before eating anything, wish i simply could go for a hunt and make it on the spot :p

Yes, in this game i find it super hard to use efficiently multiple types of weapon.

For most builds i think 1 main weapon type and one sub weapon type is the max you can afford.

So between SMG, Energy and melee i would advise you to pick only two (and choose between punch and knife).

SMG/Energy (not melee) as you suggest can probably be pretty good :)

Did you pick pack rathound ? It helps a lot for stocking a lot of batteries.

COncerning your build i don't really understand it : you mention cooked shot but it's not in your list ; what will be your melee weapon of choice : knife or punch ? Are you planning to use melee only against weak enemies or a lot (i'm wondering because you're not picking a lot of melee feats)

Same for range : energy or SMG ? You seem too spreadout or it's just that i didn't understand.

I've done SMG/punch and SMG/knife before current patch and it was good (punch was better), mainly because SMG were OP and punch is super good except against heavy armor. Not sure how good it is with the last version.

i'm mostly excited for the new feats and gear :p

But this new content also looks good,  i just hope the jet skis part won't get too tedious because of random battles (i don't think there is a stealth jet ski !?)
