General / Food and crafting + NPC life
« on: April 17, 2019, 12:39:24 pm »
Can I craft food? Or will it be possible in DLC?
I still dont understand why do I need lighter and coal?

Is there any plans to make it mandatory to eat, drink, sleep during Dominating level?

Is there any plans to make gameworld Live. NPC can talk, eat, sleep, etc? Static world sucks and boring. At nights streets lighting will be turned off or not so bright, it is ok even it is underground.. A lot of ideas for new quests.
Good example is Gothic games RPG from Piranha Bytes studio. Actually the best example.

btw, can be nice idea for questline:
- give NPC poison drink and steal normal one.
- give NPC spy device and then get spy data, like we have quest in P embassy
- give money to NPC as a anonymous charity gift and then see NPC happiness and changing story of his life that in future will bring benefits to our hero

General / Re: Real Time Underrail
« on: April 17, 2019, 12:19:26 pm »
Most as not to say almost all feets are accessable real time or can be easy transformed into real-time.
Real time mod/method can be both real Dominating level and new DLC, paid DLC.
So, might be after Expedition, devs will think about it as a new revenue stream, as being real-time, game will also cover one more game segment. Big and huge segment of AA steam games.
Second reason, today we see that game gets more competitors. For instance Atom RPG. So, making the game more and more Agile is good idea.
I saw that previous decision is based on only several old discussions. Times changing, market changing. We all remember Arma mod Battle Royale. And we all know that after 10 years it becomes  PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds.
Personally, I am not against even to see even MMORPG about Underrail

General / Real Time Underrail

May some of you remember old school game Cold Zero: The Last Stand / 2003
And I won't be surprised if authors of Underrail were inspired by this game at some point

10, 20 years have passed, but this game still stands unique with its mechanics that combine both rpg with different stats lvls, types of ammo and guns, armor, stealth, crafting
But the main element of "outstanding" and "super hardcore" is real time:
You don't have enough time to think and smoke a sig in-between turns, take meds or run away and so on

Does devs have plans to make it real time? Or... Maybe you had such plans before, but decided that it will be too difficult for the new /avg player(s)?
May we theoretically have such mode in a future? For instance mid or even long term roadmap?
Or it is better to say: can current game engine work this way or can it be transformed?

Suggestions / Re: Spare money

Same problem. Hard mode. AR build with 8 INT
Have tons of money, loot, crafting items.

Idea: you can hire or create your own squad. Pay salary, equip them,

Deep caverns? With 27 bullets I kill everything in 1 round. Ok. Will be 2 rounds in DC lol. And 1 with Supersoldier Drug.
And I also think I am lucky. From the first attempt I got 3 super plates 158 155 147

Full Auto Must be lvl 20
Burst +2 mount - mech 80
You must be able to have only one AR in hands.

Super easy tactic with 10 mines and then through 1 grenade = all enemies dead... this must be somehow nerfed. Ones I killed about 8 lurkers this way.
Recycle must be nerfed also. With this recycle I am able to repair everything and sell it with high price. 50 or 25 - does not matter.

Im doing it now.
First time with AR I played only to understand and study mechanics

About saves:
I am sure that IronMode must be integrated, like, for instance, in BattleBrothes game

otherwise, it is human psychology, we do not concentrate on 100% if we know about auto or saves

1.0.4.17
Not using speedhack, but game always in background and after 90 minutes I do round trade.

Intellect 8 max Mer, Pic and Hacking, so I can open every box/door
60 pickp to steel almost everything
I repair every thing (cost more then 500) and sell it

I have all staff quality around 120 and +
9 burst for every gun
300+ every type of red/gree bullets and special bullets from 200 to 600
I have all blueprints
Over 50 IV level each type of grenades and IV mines
50+ 100 batteries
etc,

Overall - AR build with 8 INT = super mega unbalanced power. As a result = boring to play. And I decided to play pistol + sniper build on dominating. After 2 hours of playing also easy.

I want Super_Dominating level. Current game is so casual. But what can I do if I like rifles?
I want to cry about loosing every dollar and bullet. Afraid every wolf and human. And all of these during integrated IronMan mode.

Yes, thanks a lot

so having balaclava 2 def = 6 from bullets
vest 10 def = 30 from bullets
overall 12 from melee or 36 bullets

1. I mean i have BOTH balaklava & vest, they both give Mechanical damage treshold.
Does it mean that It can be 200+200% or not?

2. I did everything that you told. I have 50k+ after it. So, I think that hard is not hard. Hard is easy. Or AR builds with 8 int are super easy.

1 I have balaklava & vest. Both have "Mechanical damage treshold increased by 200%"
So it means that I have 400% overall?

2. I play Hard mode and I am new in this game. I have lvl 16 and already have 50+k  st coins. Game becomes uninteresting at all. I can kill everybody in 1 burst. All Arena gladiators = 1 round. Is there any plan to optimise balance?
edit.
I just saw news about DLC
