General / Sooo....uh...modding tools?
« on: April 09, 2020, 12:49:57 pm »
Hey,

So...we once had that topic with the mod-tools etc. and the devs said that something in that direction might come after the dlc. (This was before Expedition was released, so they meant Expedition.)

Now Infusion is announced, now here comes my question?

What happened with the topic about modding tools? Did the team just dismissed the idea? Postponed it until Infusion is out? Or did the devs just forget it?

4 steps.

1. Go to the faceless and to their commander.
2. Go to the tchortists and accept their spy contract.
3. Complete the mission bc you already were at their base.
4. Profit.

You did the spy mission and you are friends with the faceless.

I THINK that it shouldn't be a problem that you extracted them. As long as you credit the devs and don't say that you made those sprites yourself.

The island of the behemoth for the first time. (It was like 1 AM in the night when I visited it, so don't judge me.)

Natives graveyard. (Bc just...C'MON! Isn't it obvious?!)

Bugs / Re: Possible issue with the Blazer jetski
« on: March 23, 2020, 11:57:40 pm »
Keep in mind, the wiki might be inaccurate.

The best way to check it is just to look at the jetskis in the game itself.

If the stats are wrong then just post them here. One from the wiki team might fix this issue.

(But its still possible that its like that in the game.)

I don't know. Your best bet is to read the terminals in the station.

Its a dark monolyth. I don't know much of it too but.

There is another one.

(Spoilers)

In the shaman hq of the natives is another one of those monoliths. You can destroy them with an eternal torch (Idk how its called, I haven't played this game for a while.) They'll drop an oddity and destroying the monolith in the station will stop the onslaught of void creatures, and you can even kill those creatures with this torch.

You have to survive 5 turns till the elevator shows up. You can use the tchortists as meatshields, maybe support them if you are a sniper.  But your best bet is to tank the damage after the tchortist died. Or if you are a stealth char then your best bet is to stealth at the beginning of the fight, giving you like 1 extra turn before they can attack you.

(HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD)

WARNING : The DC (The area past the elevator.) is a point of no return, you won't be able to buy items, you have 2 large warehouse blocks full with craftingstuff, hammers, etc. There are 2 shops tough, one in the tchortist camp, but you need to answer 2 questions and wear a rassophore robe for the first time you encounter them. (Answers for the questions are : Evolution is tchort and Sagan.)

The tchortshop is like lukas a gun store. And there is also some madman who only accepts food as currency, he sells you burglar equipment.

You can get some supplies from the faceless if you did atleast 2 out of 3 tasks from them and didn't kill more than 5 faceless. And you should go to them first, before visiting the tchortist outpost.

2 Ways to "proof" you're a worty soldier for the expedition are:
-Becoming the "Invictus"
-Almost complete one "olligarc" Quest lines(finish main part of tracking acid hunters"

Also joining the Protectorate does the trick.

General / New Dev?

Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen Windwalker (Sry if I didn't remember your name correctly.) here. Is he new in the team or just a developer that is just a forum newbie?

You could add an verification factor, you'd need the game to verify in the forums for ex.

Many forums, like the minecraft server ones, do this, and it's excellent against the spam.

You'd have to tell them that you have the game, by telling the steam account name and proofing that's yours.

Same in GoG.

Currently I would leave the already verified members untouched. Only new ones, (Noob or lower) have to do this verification.

Bugs / Re: Loading takes forever
« on: January 01, 2020, 10:37:32 am »
It's mostly dependent on your PC.

But the game, when it starts up, loads most items etc. like S.P.A.Z. (Game)
so your transitions take way less time to load.

I'd be happy with that. Cuz it's much more annoying when the game starts quickly, but every zonetransition takes forever.

« on: December 31, 2019, 11:15:42 pm »
I just wanted to wish ya'll a happy new year and a great new decade!

For those who think it's still 2019, in europe we already celebrate the new year and decade.

A big <3 for the dev team in Underrail for creating such a nice game and kickstarting the serbian economy. :3

I wish the team a happy new year and good luck on the development on the game. And to you, for playing this game and by that joining it's great community...well with some spambots mixed in. ;)

And a seperate shoutout for @epeli for his help in the modding scene if I may call it like that and for his nice and useful help.

Love from germany and a <3 from your Jenny. :)
