So.

I started the CE, activated the always shop refresh, maxed out Rays mercantile and tried to get those super rare parts.

1 hour later.

Still no super rare part.

How is it possible to get it in the normal game then?

Bugs / Wrong Core-tech Suit animations.

Hey,

Like the title tells you, the game plays the wrong animation for NPCs and players alike when wearing the core-tech suit.


If i shoot to the east, the animation  for shooting into the north fires.

So to oversimplify it.

If i shoot to the west, i look to the north while i'm firering.

I think you messed up the animation allocation. (I think. It's just a guess.)

I am necromancing it once more, since I got a few theories of my own. Playing Underrail as a Serbian person really can be amusing in moments. A lot of the NPCs are named proper Serb names, so we might assume they in fact are Serbian. In addition, there is a guy in the Zone in Core City that says "bre" in his dialogue all the time. You can even ask him what does "bre" mean, and he says it's a word with no lexical content and is used only for emphasis, which is exactly what it means in Serbian IRL. He also states he comes from a place torn by war. Now, if supposedly, the Serbs are from western Underrail and the Nordic people from the east, you know what just might have happened for the game's location to be plausibly in Europe? Maybe the cataclysm on the surface was so big, it shifted the magnetic poles off their mark. In Underrail, there is no way to tell which way is which, so the compass is the only thing you can trust. This theory would also explain North Underrail being the USA as well       

I heard Drop Zone is the Yugoslavia of Underrail. Are there proper serb names elsewhere? West Underrail aka Fatherland is supposed to be... different.

I think it's like Bulgaria or something. Because Google spit out that it was bulgarian/croatian etc.

Hmm...i'll wrap up my current progress and release and alpha of this new GUI. Guess i can't publish a modified .exe. Or?

Yes, before you ask. I'm trying to modify the game a lot lately.

So. Can you make your own Charactermodel? Or atleast a reskin of the normal character? Because i just don't like the ponytail. :/

So 2 Questions :

Where are they located.

And second : Which format do they use? .blend? .mesh?

If dou'd refused to give him the 'Cuby thingish box' he'd made a homeinvasion of your home and would have tried to kill you in your basement. This is the intended way of killing him.

And, he isn't part of any faction...yet.

1. How about a unique blueprint that is available at the endgame, and gives your melee weapons 3 or 4 poison 'charges'. Each time you hit the enemy, you loose one charge. If you miss, you still keep that charge.

2. A unique weapon like the staff of the boss-shaman.

I agree. Even all of Corecity talks about the murder of a rich family that you killed. But doesn't care about like a mass murder in the largest millitarybase around the city.

I'm sure it's a lot of work. But it would feel more like that your optional actions affect the world.

Hey,

Soooooooo... I've been toying a bit with the files. And i tried to use a NPC.char. (By putting them in your characters folder.)

Aaaand i weren't able to use it. I were able to SELECT them but, i weren't able to import them.

They have a Inventory.
Base attributes.
A portrait.
Feats.
(Exp)Specs.
Equip.
Skills.
They even have a own Skin.
And-something-that-won't-allow-the-useage-of-those.

Soooo...can anyone explain what makes those unusable for the player?

To give everything a final polish. It's weird when you have yellow-ish orange fonts in a red GUI.

So how am I supposed to get the originals? I need them so i can "mod" them. So, you can't open them? You can only make like .ttfs to XNA fonts? No way back?

Ok, so...where do i get the bitmap fonts for Underrail then? If i don't have them, then this GUI is kinda "scrap" or half-complete.

I can look up HOW i can make XNA fonts. No problem but i would really need to originals to make new ones. Do you think one of the developers have them rotting somewhere on their PCs? (No offense.)

You can't convert them back to original format. XNA fonts are simple bitmap fonts. There is no way to convert bitmaps back to the original truetype vector data.

What do you need the originals for? If you don't know what's what, the filenames are X#Y, where:
X is the name of the typeface (A = Arcade, T = PF Tempesta Seven and C is the new font, don't remember its name)
# is the size in pixels
Y is font-styles (italic, bold, etc.)

To sum it up : I need the originals to find out the Y (Style) # (Size) and the X (Type). If i don't have these values etc. I'm screwed and would need to do countless tests/experiments. Try out every Type * Size * Style. 

And i think you know how much pain this would be @epeli.

Hey,

So i'm pretty far with the GUI mod but i encountered a nasty problem.

As you see in the title, it has to do something with font .xnbs.

So i need a programme which can CONVERT the existing font .xnbs from Underrail. And CONVERT them back to the .xnbs.

Why do i ask you? Well Styg didn't answer my pm till now. :(
