Builds / Re: Is a mad chemist build+temp manipulation viable?

It depends on which grenade we're talking about. With at least 80 throwing and at least MK3, it's good enough to kill non-DC stuff. Mk5 probably melts anything, and with three pointer proc, it's definitely much stronger than pyrokinetic, at least damage-wise. Pyromania proc is very useful for ambush, though

Steadfast aim isn't that good compared to higher dex for more attack/turn imo. But that 30% crit before crit power tho

Would be nice to adds non-armored, medium, and heavy targets for DT/DR penetration test

Suggestions / Re: Feat: Concealed Weapon

Probably wouldn't work on current game build tbh, unless Styg wanna rework the entire inventory stuff. Even the 6th utility slot are there for temporary usage while equipping jet-ski, rather than making new behind-the-scene slot mechanic for it. And placing gun as utility won't work code-wise, since each attack abilities are assigned to current weapon slot

Most of INT checks isn't that useful, it's basically adds a bit of hints on current quest, which can be solved by visiting Wiki. Philosophy is good, but not a must for non-psi, unless you're not ability-starved / need 7 Int feats. Technically speaking, 7 Int is enough, since there's drug which increased your INT by 2

It depends on priority I guess. And I think that prioritizing pistol (which means seeker goggle) is better

As for throwing, maybe your character has bad eyesight or something. 80 throwing are supposed to have 90% chance on 3 range

General / Re: Question re: shock & acid bolt damage via specialization

Now that's a lotta math.
Seems that Bowyer is safer pick. Although, idk how it works vs industrial bots and the Big B0i. I played for probably hundreds of hour and still never fought him outside or pure psi, so idk if elemental bolts would do much better against him

I think Bowyer would be more profitable in-general, while Elemental Bolts only affect few enemies that has humongous mechanical defense, since it only affect the elemental parts without increasing mechanical damage part, and those elemental bonus are smaller than mech damage. Even if it's multiplier, Bowyer should push the total damage higher (although idk the actual math for it)

The loss is only on detection.
And a handful of feats.. It still need 6 Per for point shot, and you lose Sharpshooter on 10 Per. Idk if it's worth going max dex in this case, probably it works best for SMG, as pointed by Apostrophe' 19 Dex build

Well there's a clue at least. You could try running without battery. If it still bsod, then there's something wrong with charging port, else, it's battery.
Or it can simply caused by faulty driver, since Google search also pointed out to display-related driver and "fast charging" 3rd party app

Any fancy error code when the BSOD happens?
There's way too many reason of that, both software, from OS/registry error or even auto run 3rd party program that goes haywire, and hardware, faulty anything or improper installation of it.
For OS, I'd try to use Ubuntu from USB, which should eliminate most of software-related problem

Bugs / Re: Field Marsh omega lag
« on: November 29, 2019, 04:25:50 am »
Late follow up, apparently restarting the game fixed it. Managed to get out of that damned place with no lag, although I'm afraid to go back there to test it out again, since the lag are so bad. Maybe a case of memory leak?

If it does fixed it, for future reference, if you're on Steam, you could just Verify files, and it'll re-download only the corrupted parts, saving you lots of time
