I actually played this, but put on hold because I can't figured out how to deal with robots. throwing EMP all day is too tiresome

oh ye I messed up with the blitz. I should move the spec point somewhere else I guess
does 3 agi worth it? I could slap on STR and maybe even used super steel reinforced x3. with nimble + body weight training, I could probably fits it in and still triggers lightning punch. forgo evasion completely and get breathing room for crafting skills

for crits, im not even sure if its worth it. the base damage are insanely low anyway, its like lottery on Combo proc with steel glove. and expertise adds handful of base damage on unarmed, which scales more with the advanced unarmed feat stuff

Doppelgangers are psique manifestations and don't exists outside the victims' mind(as all the TC abilities). As such this is the reason only thought control destroy them.

But from a gameplay balance wouldn't hurt if energy pistols and energy based melee weapons could hurt them.

I got bored, so I jumped to character builder again.
did I missed something?
the skill points seems pretty tight, but I'm not even sure if this build could fight against tchort without supersoldier drugs.
or should I just do merchant run on black seas instead? I think they sold SS drug sometimes

-skill respec on SGS in case you misclick and forgot to save your game
-increase the usefulness of dodge/evasion so you don't have to be 20 Agi to feel its effects
-"super jump" feat which requires high STR, the effects is to increase Agi for skill checks (similar to snooping)
-preferably, both snooping and "super jump" scaled according to your base stats, something like Half dex or Half str
-ability to reverse-pickpocket poison explosive so Pickpocketing can be useful
-makes all crafting feats scaled with your crafting skills
(it gives default amount at 100 effective, but increased 1% per skill points beyond that)
-adds "mushroom beer shiny thingy" across black sea
-remove weight limit

It's just making you immune from thought control ailments, like fear or enrage.
But it doesn't protect you from "physical" ailments, like entangled, cold and fire effects, poison, etc.

Also, there's multitude of ways to deal with high mechanical enemies, which often easier to deal than fire or cold elements oriented build. But if its about resistance in general, I guess it's correct.

I thought that Metathermics are enough to dent them, but I forgot that robots mostly immune to cold and heat.
And I really don't want to go tri-school if possible

Knife, as in the old days, are pretty bad.
Although, at some point, it gets buffed because you could cutthroat easier with flashbang.
Imo, you should try making the end-game build first instead of going full blind run.
The easiest way to plan your character is just pick feats you want, then adjust your stats accordingly.
For the "non-primary" stats, you could Google Destroyor's steam guide for recommended "soft-cap".

I did knife+throwing before the flashbang buff, and it works quite nicely on Hard. Although Foundry is kinda annoying because there's monster which immune to crit, have high mechanical DT, and pretty high HP.
I recommend to put Hypertoxicity to kill it faster.

The chance for Contraction to backfire does scale off effective Temporal Manipulation. I think at 55 TM it's 60% and at 150 TM it's down to 30%, the lowest it will go.

ah, I didn't know styg "adds new complexity" on that skill

and why do you points on MT all that much? I thought most of the buff/debuff doesn't really scale off it?

this looks really damn fun
props for getting Intimidation. it really sounds like a good idea after the str/wil update thing.
but switching Brutality to Yell seems like a better idea overall
Fear is a double-edged sword. sometimes its so annoying when a light weapon sniper / crossbow enemy accidentally run away with full speed, and it took you few turn to finally catch up with them

speaking of which, is there any reason not to use 12p or 6p on invictus, since he has no armor?
I assumed that you means the last guy on Arena

if so, he has pretty good mechanical DR from Conditioning perk + 16 CON
in my experience playing shotty 2 years ago, I feel like you should go on either 20p or 3p tungsten most of the time.
it also depends on difficulty. hard and above, you still able to use 6p most of the time, but at certain point, 3p would be much better option.

or, you could just save the game BEFORE entering the arena and see the damage for yourself
