I was talking about the cold gas, I noticed the different damage amounts when I exited and reopened the game making the speed reset back to default, though its possible there is no bug at all and the extra damage I was taking is just from the few moments where my character stops moving on the higher speed making the game think I stopped moving for a whole second or something like that meaning I took more damage, will test this soon.

EDIT: Cold damage ticks seem to be random? Walking the same distance on various speeds sometimes I take 0 instances of damage while it can go up to 8 instances, also amount of damage varies greatly as well.

Guehlfirf's metathermics build has a few flaws like lacking fancy footwork and onslaught, I would recommend going something like this instead:

Your psi slots at level 20 on this build should be cryo orb, cryostasis, cryokinesis, LTI and PTC.

When you acquire stasis replace cryostasis or cryokinesis with it. Psionic mania + premeditation and cryokinesis/cryo orb gives you some strong ranged options with the latter also letting you proc TFB and opportunist on the survivors, I would not recommend slotting in thermoD on a build like this since you are a melee, though you could use it along with pyrokinesis for big crowd control damage combined with psionic mania.

EDIT: PK build:

Slots should be contraction, lti, proxy, tk punch and electrokinesis early on, later stasis.

This build trades off raw nuking power (from Psionic Mania) in exchange for crowd control and quite a few disables (5 ap proxy undulation, 10 ap tk punch, 0 ap electrokinesis from premeditation) I would recommend speccing undulation after flurry ap cost and cooldown. Also you should take taste for blood later on, after you join the Free Drones.

What psi schools do you want to use? The only one with real synergy with swords is TM, TC has little synergy with swords, MT is decent I guess with cryo orb for opportunist and TFB as well as cryo shield if you want to use parry and riposte and PK is better off with str sword than dex sword

First, if a ghost crawler/coil spider is blocking the stairs on this part when you go down them you get stuck in this spot and can only leave via CE tping. Image attached

Second, you seem to take much more damage and take it faster when moving around in a faster speed than a slower one (speed as in the ones you change via clicking F2 and F4)

My guess is its either hard to implement the PC moving randomly or it would be too strong for the enemy to have, unlike other debuffs which last maybe 2 turns at most, fear can go up to 8 which is kind of ridiculous.

Never had them appear. How are they in Dominating if you get to meet them early on? I suspect they should be quite hard, but the benefits are really good.

Event is pretty easy on dominating even at level ~2, Diedrick is a decently strong psionic and Ryl has accurate nets.

This is a pretty good random event i've had happen three times so far on different playthroughs.

First you get 3 tactical vests, a shotgun, a sledgehammer and a smg right at the start of the game if your lucky, 200 charons when you go to junkyard after completing the event (you can do this at the start of the game)

And later on in core city you get Diedrick as a merchant, and he sells a decent amount of mk IV grenades as well as q~90 electronics and if I remember correctly he can also convert your SGS credits into charons at a fair rate via manual trading

(Though this was when I refused to accept their 200 charons in junkyard, if you accept them this might be different, haven't tried it)

Anyways, what other good random events do you all know of? Another one I like is the fight with Dandy Jack, Steelhead and their minions, there are quite a few enemies and its a pretty tough fight, but if you win you get 2 super soldier drugs and alot of gear to sell.

Damage:50-80 (perhaps more? this is only roughly equal to q115 plasma pistol stats)

Special abilities:
- Fusion Blast: Perform an unconditional special attack that deals 20% less damage in AoE (with AoE size being slightly bigger than cooked shot)

Second suggestion because we need more bioweapons: Toxic Blob Pistol (parts will be sold by chemical merchants like Fixer as normal)

As for ammo you will be able to turn 1 toxic waste, 10 vials and 1 bonding agent into 30 toxic vials (same recipe as incendiary napalm ammo basically)
