Also, first time I went to him I couldn't mention I already visited the Acid Hunters hideout, after I reloaded a previous quicksave the option appeared. The option doesn't appear with "So, you want them dead?" dialogue option, but it does with "What do you want me to do?".

Accidentally skipped the dialogue to turn in Cornell's head at Coretech by going for the "I went to the facility" dialogue option, now I can't turn talk to Rupert at all to give him Cornell's head.

Dialogue with Doctor Zilch, judgement not judgment

I mean to be fair the character did make some mighty leaps of logic with all the dialogue options available but I see your point

Dialogue with Garry, brutality not brutallity

I've done zero quests for the Oligarchs and have never interacted with the Faceless at all.
The only person I interacted with related to the Cube was the train operator and knew about Terry and Lora's fates.
Confronted Cornell, eventually progressed through Phreak's storyline until I was in the research laboratory.
Got a quest to infiltrate the Institute in my notes, but no option to update Tanner on the situation of the Cube.

Bugs / Squeezing through Phreak's pipes without Perception
« on: February 10, 2022, 03:43:52 pm »
You don't get the option to go back through the same pipes if you use them to escape his lair, instead requiring the same Perception check. I believe getting the required Perception is relatively easy but I'm still pretty sure this is a bug.

Conversation with Phreak, competent not competant

(removed link)
It took me too much time searching through online folder engines to realize I could just turn it into a zip file and thus upload it on file upload sites
The detailed breakdown: Got the option to ask about Patrick Pierce, got the option to ask about Phreak, asked Jon about Phreak first who then asked for Jon's Special, but before I left I subsequently asked him about Patrick Pierce which prompted weird dialogue (as if I had already given his Special already), left, got the option to make Jon's Special twice at the bar, came back, only had the option to give him his Special for Patrick Pierce.

Weirdly enough the dialogue for Phreak appears normally again, I assume something along the way got tripped which is likely viewing his entry in (Oculus).

At this point just remove the check and make it an actual argument instead with Tanner weighing the pros and cons and Vera relying on disprovable claims that the United Stations says, with the way of convincing SGS to support the Eels being that the US would impede SGS' independence and subsequently jeopardizing the safety of certain members who have a murky history with the Protectorate, and highlighting how the US is just a Protectorate front and their "with us or against us" mentality making it infeasible to even consider letting them anywhere close to the station and that a buffer zone would be beneficial. Significantly easier with Gorsky since he would essentially auto-complete some of the arguments for you.

Suggestions / Re: Body Weight Training is very skewed.
« on: February 08, 2022, 04:26:58 pm »
Veteran feats are a let-down despite how late you get them, I made a forum post about it once. If anything excess strength should reduce effective armor penalty, but that's another matter. Body Weight Training is a rather weak feat considering that it actually gets outdone by a regular feat, either the effect needs to be a lot more substantial or it should be repurposed for something else entirely that still benefits tincan builds.
The reason body weight training is so much worse than nimble is because it can potentially allow you to go under 20% armor penalty with super steel armor, if you combine it with armor sloping and specialization. You can then use it on a fist build with lightning punches to deal high damage, have high mobility, and be extremely durable. Body weight training is fine as is.
You get it at level 25-26 minimum, at that point in the game you're killing anything no problem, being tanky on top of that because you built for it this whole time is just cherry on top.
