i am currently doing my first glove run and i am thought myself using metal gloves.Its thematic for my metal armor and everyone keep telling that they suck.Surprisingly, they are.And there two reasons probably why.
1.Damage
Here 2 pictures:difference in damage is 4-5 times, same with enhacement for only one ap difference.You can agrue that glove is light weapon, so lets imagine i have 15 dex and now each swing cost 12 ap, which dont change situation much.What about feats they sure help get with situation.Combo and wrestling both benefit from more hits you do so they dont synergise with metal glove.May be metal glove is good on high dt enemies?No, you still better off using anything but gloves against robots, riot gear, metal armor.

2.Fist weapon choice
Like i wrote before, all what metal gloves are good for, other options do better:combo and wrestling is better on fists, leather gloves provide more pneumatic and discharger procs.And im not even considering that fist with two unconditional damage feats deal more raw damage than metal glove at maximum strenght.

3.What to change?
First of all i think it needs damage buff.In any form:stronger enhancements, raw damage,cripple strike and heavy punch damage mod
Second it can have defensive properties since metal glove cover your precious hands:better guard feat while wearing, crit reduction, extra dt.
Third synergy with feats, like i wrote above, or like combo hit have higher chance to stun or bonus in wrestling depending on difference in strenght

you can boost your detection with gear, feat, consumables.But it wont matter if you cant win enough time before you actually detect them.Also death stalkers are probably why you even care about stealth at all but they have interloper and zero ap attack which makes any tries to detect them with detection means unreasonable.You probably just want to enter any new area with emitter toggled and riot gear equipped

i will just say that game rewards you for careful itemisation, which requires game knowledge.Thats hard for noobs.Arena is a good example of decent encounter, you have information on whom you fighting and you can plan what to take, eat, equip, but everywhere else you are mostly blind.And unless you want to build yourself a little cottage in core city, game give plenty of money which i honestly left nowhere to spend.

about bio immunity it quite easy as long as you have enough irongut which is somewhat easy to do.75(irongut)+10(either of two belts)+15(canned mushroom) so no need for high quality leathers.
Melee immunity against certain melee is easier to reach with ss sheet riot gear which already gives you somewhat around 80 resist against bladed(a lot of things considered bladed).

I wrote it elsewhere, but thanks to synergy you can more often than not afford to choose the destiny of Junkyard with a given Player Character.

In deed, with 50 points invested in mercantile (most characters would want more as 74 is 92 effective for 7 int builds, an important threshold) you'll get 50*20%=10 (rounded down ; not that it matters here). With 2 heartbreaker leather pieces and the White Dude cocktail, it's 45 effective. It's what is required according to the wiki to persuade Tanner to take Junkyard with the least aggressive option.

Just don't rush this quest, you can get back to it later if you don't want to help the Protectorate to settle strongly in South Underrail.

Alternatively, but this requires choices : you can stand with the JKK and benefit from their hypno goggles (if you have enough Will), their vest and their tattoo (you need the tattoo shop to spawn in your playthrough, which is not guaranteed)
By this point i doubt he need it

Let me to introduce you to the right guy, he calls himself Dominator.Him and his full of spikes sledge bring apex domination to those who stands in his way.
Strenghts of his:
  • Not afraid of common counters of both tanks and glass canons, such as dopplegangers, snipers, traps, stealthed foes, crossbows
  • Reach 90% mech reduction with morphine at full health, strong timeout option to recover your strenght and prepare for further domination
  • Reach 1000 hp and 700 dodge with evasion to endure any bullshit thrown at you
  • Run a mile with your supreme mobility to outrun anyone
  • Bonk a lot and hard
Weaknesses:
  • Nets exist
  • Cripple stirke too
Before we start, lets talk about some nuances.He is not bright in the head, so dont expect him making pipebombs or any other faggotry, atleast early.Spending 20 skill points each level on neccessary skills  neither help.So how to start then?Your life will become much easier if you provide him with hammer early, especially shock one.Where to get those?Protectorate troops, ironheads, arena with gauntlet provide large assortment of hammers.Choose most appealing and go dominate the Underail.Also one more advice, destealth melee enemies since they ignore dodge on first hit.
