I use proton 9.0 beta via Lutris and haven't had any problems so far. 20ish hours in, newest patch.

This newest update gave us some fancy new shaders for the game, but they dont work right on linux.

ProtonGE seems to fix this for those who wants advanced shaders.

no such problems on my end, maybe display server or nvidia specific something something. x11 and amd gpu on my system. did you install xna40 and dotnet452?
