Development Log / Re: Dev Log #14: Taking from the Rich

Hey there, I just want to make a small suggestion for pickpocketing, which works in a very traditional way right now, meaning you try and fail and immediately want to reload your save, this feels grindy and it can be done differently to remove the reloading impetus.
Basically just make it so you either can or can't pickpocket someone without chances, and your perception lets you know if you can. No more grinding.

That eliminates all consequences of a failed pickpocket attempt, I don't know if I agree with that.

I have been thinking about this some too, especially when I play "spellcasters", it would be nice to have a defensive tool when in melee. But I have been thinking about how they would work, once per turn? Always enabled? Consumable? I think it would be cool to have a sort of toolbelt item that is used and is active for the next turn, then have a cooldown. A shield spell would be cool too, like a "thornarmor" made of ice spikes using thermokinetics or a psychic ability that reduces enemy attack damage or AP.

You need a lockpick in order to lockpick. There are different types of lockpicks in the game that boosts your lockpick skill (in order to pick difficuly locks)

Lots of locks and picks in this post :P

Suggestions / Re: Powered Armor?

That's actually a great idea. Not only eoes it provides the player a heavy armor without direct disadvantages to your attributes and skills, it also need resource management to balance the power out, I totally support this idea, as long as the armor is power hungry enough so that it is a second thought thing and not a face-roll piece equipment.

As maheusz said, it's not only allowed but encouraged.

I love when people upload their gameplay videos as it generates additional interest in the game and is also just about the most valuable type of feedback I can get. :)

This is what I like about Indie Devs, they see the benefits in free advertisement instead of worries about sale figures (not only that but they understand that Let's Players is one of the widest advertisement medium on the internet).

Not much, but enough for the game to be enjoyable. As far as I'm concerned, Styg have been doing a lot of engine work over the past years and only lately have he started adding content, that said the game is fully playable with very little to none bugs but the short length reflects that a lot of work have gone into improving the engine. I'd say play the build, enjoy it and tell Styg what you think about it! :D

And welcome to the forums Fruiteater!

I never noticed that, thanks! :D

He probably meant this as a suggestion. This is not implemented.

I'll probably add suffix "(empty)" for the containers that were searched and are empty.

Oh alright, I didn't take the time to check, it is a nice suggestion nonetheless and a suffix is even better. :)

I remember playing this a few years ago (the free version), I thought it  was a pretty cool game but the visuals and feedback was least to say clumsy and unimpressive, is this new release any different from the old ones?

You need to go to the tunnel exit and talk to the security guard (behind the locked gate) and tell him to open the lare tunnel exit gate.
