i am sorry but i have to ask...how is it anything remotely like planescape torment...?

I guess he meant that the game heavily relies on text and dialogue for carrying the story.

The game is set in a kind of post apocalyptic roman empire, which is an intruiging idea in itself. What I don't like about the game though is it's hellish difficulty, I invested all skill and attribute points on combat skills but I still couldn't win the first battle against the assassin. Am I doing something wrong or is the game supposed to be near impossible?

Another one, this one is more design oriented than the ones above:

In the eary levels, pacifist gameplay is fine, in later levels (namely the mutant area), you get a lot of experience for killing, so I can pretty much say that you missing out on at least 3, maybe 4 levels in the current state of the alpha if you skip killing stuff.

There is also the perk that allows you to recover health with bandages even under 40%, it's pretty much a must because bandages are cheap, stims are not. :)

You force on your point in a very aggressive manner, I gave you my opinion in a civilized way but you flamed up as if I insulted you, I don't think you are stupid or that what you did is, I merely questioned your point. If you are not willing to act more maturely, I will not continue to contribute to this thread. Just letting you know, Thank you and good bye.

Unless you simmer down, this is going to turn into a flame war. Good day to you, I wasn't offending you, but you insult my intelligence, and that's the end of this discussion.

I played the game and I thought it was pretty hard. Exploiting the game's skill/attribute system to create a somewhat broken character is better kept to these kinds of things, but I doubt this game was a breeze for you the first time you played it. I could do this again, but then I wouldn't be playing the game, I would be testing it, see where I'm going with this?

I'm not saying you are not allowed to do this, but suggesting making the game harder is one thing I strongly disagree with, since the combat in the game is somewhat balanced as it is right now. Changes can be made sure, but I don't agree on making things harder.

These kind of exploits are found in almost all games, Morrowind, Fallout, Baldurs Gate, Skyrim, Neverwinter, you name it. I personaly think this should stay as a funny build in itself, but I prefer to play the game rather than exploiting its system.

To balance it up, you have to choose which part to salvage, rest of the components would be destroyed in the process.

This is amazing! I really like how you rewamped the lockpicks/haxxors, I thought it was weird that they never broke although I used them tens of times. I'm also looking forward to the improved crafting, I spent a lot of time on thinking up the best combination of enhancements for my equipment, and now there's more coming! Like a christmas present! :)

EDIT: Now that I mentioned enhancement, are there any plans on enhancing your current equipment? Instead of crafting an all new one?

You're welcome, you can steal anything unless someone see you do it, so stealing everything that is possible in SGS without getting caught leave you with a great early advantage. :)

In the barracks just before the bandits, one of the footlockers contain the package.

The problem with Fallout was that the companions were scripted (not programmed) which made them do a lot of funkeh stuff. Fully programmed companions would be a great addition though I can imagine it being a hard thing to pull off. (or at least time consuming.

That said, there are certain fights, particularly in the early game (like the package delivery one), that end up being too difficult for some character builds and I'll be looking into those to either tone them down a bit or provide that type of character more tools to overcome them.

Yay! I had a real hard time overcoming that battle with my orthodox gun slinger, the abcent of sneak and grenades made that fight nearly impossible, considering the lvl your character is at that point.
