Trying to reset Abram's quest right from the beggining
« on: November 19, 2017, 09:08:07 pm »
I stupidly decided in my first hours in this game to refuse Abram's quest, later on finding that his quest is actually really cool.

Now I found a guide here on how I could edit the save file's global.dat file:

http://underrail.com/forums/index.php?topic=1700.0

I didn't use that specific method to unpack the .dat file, instead I used this:

http://underrail.info.tm/unpacker/

I tried a lot, but I can't figure for the life of me what specific decimals to change in my particular case. I have attached my global.dat file, maybe you guys could help, I really don't know what to do anymore. No matter what I change in the save file I always manage to corrupt my save file.

Here's my global.dat file: https://mega.nz/#!t1IFSJ7b

Oh, and btw, I wish to thank epeli for this amazing unpacking tool!

Okay, I finally managed to do it! I just followed what Michael Burge did in his original post, just look on one of his follow-up post where he actually shows a screen shot on how he edited the conditions of the quest.
