Crossbow, psi support, and point shot build. (Advice needed)

Sniper + shotgun would works much better than crossbow if you want some spike damage action. Shotty without full-auto is good enough, although with that feat, it becomes devastatingly powerful, I think I managed to deal ~400 damage at Depot A before
Sniper build starts working in mid-game, after you get Dragunov, since it's usually quite rare to find Rapid Reload for your low AP sniper
Or if you don't wanna use shotgun, energy pistol + jkk like your original idea still works fine

Just started a charicter and agi was bugged so I went for 4 and increased int to 8 I also decided to just take marksman at lvl 2 instead of sure step (man I hate depot a)

From what I hear, Fragmented Chaos was bugged, idk if it's fixed now.
Sure step is just a pure QoL tbh, unless you're going to use acid pistol and caltrops, it's usually not worth it.
Crafting siphoner / mutated dog leather armor and boots usually enough to mitigate acid pool
