Placing fishing rod on ferryman's boat makes the game crash

Only happens in the northern part of the boat in northeastern waters.

Can you post the crash log? You'll find it in Documents\My Games\Underrail.

Fixed it for the next update. Though keep in mind that the bug will persist until you re-enter the area. Thanks.
