Random encounter frequency?

Just curious, how many random encounters do you run into per game?, my experience is 2-4 usually the boring ones

they appear every 15 minutes somewhere on the map, also you sometimes miss random encounter by just not noticing it like a corpse that dont belong here or some box that haven't been there
