Adding the ice T email in hex editor?

Hi this may be a silly question that maybe only the devs could answer but I'm halfway through my current dominating playthrough and I started it before the utility tower patch came through so I never got the email at the beginning about the utility tower boss or smasher bros in that save. I'd really like to not have to start another game but I am sad it's the only way for me to get to fight any of those bosses. The question is simple; am I able to adjust the code in hex editor to put that email in my current playthrough?
