Claim ownership of jets
« on: September 13, 2023, 10:22:49 am »
When a neutral jet skier is killed, the vehicle becomes "red-hand". Once you board it and disembark / change jet, it is no longer considered someone else's. This should also happen with freelooter jets (and probably other factions' jets, except those that always appear unoccupied on the map).

This behavior is shared between all factions that ride junk jets and the like (Black Eels, Grim Jetters, generic jet skiers, freelooters), and I just tested this on a random freelooter and got the expected results. Did something different happen in your case?

Black Eel and generic jet skiers jets can be claimed as yours.
Freelooter, mutant, Grim Jetter, and dead jetter random event jets stay red-hand forever.

If this is not a bug or an inconsistency or not reproduced, then fair enough

Think I fixed these already somewhere along the way, upon further investigation, but the mutie jets still exhibit this behavior, so I'll fix those for the next patch.
