Melee gear set up

I've been going through my first playthrough on my melee fist build and i found a lot gear that's pretty decent for it like the ninja tabi boots, the rathound king regalia, power fist, claw, dehuminazer and so on. But i can't seem to find any decent piece for the head part? Are there any good helmets? psi headbands? balaclavas? for the melee type?

Depends on your build, but unique helmets are pretty rare.  For a light-armor non-psi melee character, balaclavas are the go-to.  There's one unique balaclava in the expansion.  There is one particularly good headslot item in core city, but I won't spoil it here.  If you want to be spoiled, get on google and search "underrail bioscrubber".
