Hi. You could try verifying the integrity of your game files.
On Steam you right-click the game -> properties -> installed files -> verify...; on GoG Galaxy it's manage installation -> verify/repair.
If something's wrong, the files will be redownloaded. If that doesn't work, then you could send me your save file (C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\My Games\Underrail\Saves\[save]), and I'll take a look at it/see if I can fix it. You can upload it to any cloud service of your choice and post the link here.
