Zone transition error

Hi, after the last update (1.3.1.2) the game hits me with a zone transition error. I tried with an older save file but the same thing happens.

Try adding the game to your antivirus software's exclusion list. For some reason AVs tend to start reporting false positives when we release a new patch.

I'm also getting this same transition error. I have been using the steam cloud to sync the saves so I can play on both my laptop or desktop and have read that could be the issue. Is there any fixes or is my save completely corrupted?

I've hit this issue also after playing temporarily on a separate computer. From reading the log data, it seems to be due to both computers having different locales (one French, one US English). These sorts of mistakes happen often in C#, I can't remember if Underrail is using that. I've been avoiding playing on a separate computer since.

I've solved the issue by rolling back to a save before I started playing on a separate computer, which lost about 2 days of progress.

A zone transition error is often caused by a missing or corrupted file, a mod conflict, or a save that's trying to load an area incorrectly. If you're using any mods, I'd try disabling them first and see if the issue persists. Also worth verifying the game files if that's an option. Hopefully it's something simple and not a broken save.
