Save Editor Project?

I've been looking into my save file, and I've determined how to transform feats into other feats, items into other items, psi powers into other psi powers, but its all a little messy. I'd really like it if someone actually started to work on a save editor (I'd do it myself if I had an inkling of what I'm doing for programming) to take out some of the mess and streamline it.

If anyone is interested in trying, I'll gladly tell what I know.
