Idea for a new melee weapon component.

Heat coil, it can be put on a melee weapon 'except gloves that are made out of leather and cloth excluding aluminized cloth' during crafting and it will do burn damage.

Sure, why not. Could also do the same for the other elemental effects in the game. An ice spike knuckle that causes chilling and does some cold damage. An acid glove that does acid damage and can stick them to the ground. A biohazard glove that does bio damage and causes the contamination debuff.

I still don't get why poison coating on melee weapon still isn't a thing ...

Probably because a crawler posion spear or heartbreak poison knife would be crazy OP, especially with opportunist/hypertoxicity

1. How about a unique blueprint that is available at the endgame, and gives your melee weapons 3 or 4 poison 'charges'. Each time you hit the enemy, you loose one charge. If you miss, you still keep that charge.

2. A unique weapon like the staff of the boss-shaman.
