New playthough on dominating

Yo i came back to game after like 2 years and my dominating crossbow build is not as good as it was before. so i want to start new game and play with chem pistols. I dont rly need a help with build i hope. The thing is i stat a new game do my setup strat that involves kiling bandits jsut after SSG to get some gold+exp then travel to junkyard and kill Elwood in casino. Then i proceed to his basment and with stealth i bybass his sentiniels to main room. The thing is i dont remember the plasma sentiniel being there? dunno if it is new feature or i dont remmber him. How to baypass him? Buy some E.P grenades and spam him to death? my money is tight and i dont rly want to spend more than neded. Any other idea how to bypass him or smth?  He has tons of gold there and also chances for random pistol to steamroll early game. My char is dex oriented with stealth. level is 2 ofc cuz it was my staartup thing.

I just picked this game up a year or so ago, and the plasma sentry in Elwood's house has been there every dominating playthrough. EMPs work, throwing nets and abusing line of sight also works. Can also abuse the fact that if you end your turn in a plasma sentry's line of sight when it's mobile, it will often spend its entire next turn turning in to a turret and not actually shoot at you.
