Questions about claymore
« on: November 12, 2022, 04:05:20 am »
Does the sweep attack trigger carved up/dazed/stun?

Does the sweep attack increase onslaught stacks?

What happens if I take the spear's Sweep feat while holding this weapon? Will the 2 sweeps be on separate cooldowns? Or are the 2 abilities the same, such that the claymore will also benefit from any specialization points invested in the Sweep feat?

The claymore's sweep should be able to proc all listed effects and onslaught stack(s) too. AFAIK there are no special rules to sweep when it comes to applying status effects to enemies and activating player's feats.

Spear sweep probably shares cooldown with claymore sweep.

Just verified on another character that Claymore's Sweep and the Sweep feat are one and the same. They both share the same cooldown, and benefit from specialization points invested into the Sweep feat (I placed 1 specialization point into Sweep: Damage and the tooltip for Claymore's Sweep shows up as "Perform a special spear attack with deals 74% of normal weapon damage...")

Yes and yes, the Sweep skill will apply all weapon effects, including Carved up, bleed from using bladed metal armor, and poison /antioagulation coatings
