A Detailed Psi Guide | for new and experienced players | all schools

Here is a comprehensive psi guide I have been working on for a couple of weeks. It includes a couple of builds thoroughly explained as well as ideas behind the principles of psi. I plan to expand the guide but it is fairly long in its current state already. Please make use of the shortcuts on the google doc to navigate.

I would suggest adding a section or two explaining individual psi abilities and different loadout recommendations vs various situations. I also think the quad school psychosis build is stretch just a bit too thin. It's 100% viable for sure but a two or three school (TM + any school combo) psychosis build would imho work much better allowing you to add lockpicking/hacking/persuasion/better crafting/whatever.

Again good job and it's always nice to see an active Underrail community.

Yeah, good ideas, Often people hear about quad school and almost every person who is new to psi does it wrong so I thought id bring attention to how to build it correctly. Besides, it's a build I had a hell of a lot of fun with. But yeah I plan on adding more traditional builds in the future like 2 school PK TM or MT TM.

If its possible could you release a mania build that isn't four school, I feel like I don't play psi enough and whenever I do play I go tranquillity. I really like how the guide is setup though.

Sure thing, I plan to add a couple more builds (mania included). For now, If you want to play a mania build you can remove 2 schools from the Quad psi build such as MT PK and play TC TM crit build. The quad psi build already has all the good TC feats so it shouldn't be much of an issue. I played TC TM psychosis in an ironman run, and it works well. Robots can be a little annoying with the added psi cost and Temporal distortion spam but it's manageable.

Easiest build in the game is TC, so yes.
