You are to find a Protectorate expedition that has been missing for a while.&lt;br /&gt;

== Objectives ==&lt;br /&gt;
* Colonel Cathcart told you about a Protectorate expedition that hasn't reported back since the earthquake. Find Hephaestus Research facility in Lower Underrail caves and locate the missing team. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== Walkthrough ==&lt;br /&gt;
Head back to Lower Underrail. Take the train to Rail Crossing. You can find the [[Hephaestus Research]] facility in the caves to the north. Once in the caves, head north to cross the river and then head south, two times east and two times south. If you were there before you could find a gate and a stuck switch, now you can crawl under.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once you come up to a stuck roller door with a body underneath, you've found Hephaestus and the missing expedition. Enter the facility.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Inside you will find a massive burrower infestation, unleashed by the earthquake, and also an intact [[Protectorate Dreadnought]]. Use the dread to find and rescue the remaining expedition members. Once they have safely left the facility, return to Fort Apogee.&lt;br /&gt;

Using the advice you got from Mr. Simmons, head to [[Core City Sewers]] until you find the large drain pipe in the west-northwest corner. Descend down the second chamber and there you will find the secret switch and entrance to Acid Hunters' hideout. During the discussion you will lean that Archibald was killed by the Coretech oligarch son and that Coretech now has the cube. You can let them go and report you did not find them or kill them and bring Cornell's head to Rupert Simmons. The rewards is the same. If you let them go, you just miss the loot (belt supporting chemical pistol).&lt;br /&gt;

You need to get into [[Port Zenith]] to steal an [[Energy Shield Emitter Shipment]].&lt;br /&gt;

To get in, you need to either:&lt;br /&gt;
* Acquire Bob's [[Port Zenith Security Pass - Bob Smith|Port Zenith Security Pass]] and walk in via the front entrance (needs 70 effective persuasion skill) (this option is possible only if you are a male character)&lt;br /&gt;
* Sneak inside via the ventilation shafts beneath docks&lt;br /&gt;
** You can sneak and lockpick the utility room door, or pickpocket its key from Rubin&lt;br /&gt;
** You can intimidate or bribe the dock superintendent to let you in. The bribe is 50-200 charons depending on effective mercantile.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you have Bob's pass and uniform, you should be able walk around without provoking hostilities as long as you aren't too close to anyone. Otherwise you'll have to either sneak around - or kill everyone in sight. A [[Protectorate Heavy Gunner]] and a [[Protectorate Sentinel]] are patrolling the base. Another heavy gunner and a [[Protectorate Shock Trooper]] stands guard near the entrance. Rest of the personnel are civilian workers.&lt;br /&gt;
