== Player interactions ==
Despite you being only a novitiate rather than a rassophore, Samuel can give you permission to access the Institute's armory. Afterwards you can talk to [[Efreitor Hanna]] to buy goods from the armory.

You are also given an opportunity to join the Preservation forces and become a rassophore after completing the tasks the mediant gives you.

+Mediant isn't very talkative about his past but after finishing all his quests he can tell the player a bit about himself. Samuel wasn't born in the Institute and before becoming a tchortist he was a different person and to this day he is ashamed of his previous life, describing his former self as aimless and inferior.
