== Background ==
Born to Angus and Shelley Newman, Todd is the last living descendant of Lemurians that sought refuge from the [[Biocorp]] at the Abyssal Station Zero. His distant ancestor was Theodore Newman who was the last minister of technology before the Great War. He was married to Synneva, the only child of Stig and Asta Øyvindr. Being the only child himself, he was put under immense pressure by both his parents and parents-in-law. Suffering from numerous health problems, he was unable to make a child with his wife for many years, leading to him becoming distant to the Øyvindrs and further contempt from his harsh father. Evenutally, he managed to sire a son with Synna, however both her and the child did not survive the childbirth. Traumatized by the event, Todd had created personas of his deceased family members to help him cope with unacceptable reality of being all alone.
