Adrenaline Shot gives you adrenaline rush which increases AP, dodge/evasion and strength. Once the rush ends, you're left with fatigue for a long time. Using adrenaline also removes any previous fatigue you may have. Adrenaline is a pretty common drug and the 20 AP bonus for 3 turns is very useful for any tougher fights.
